Join us at Leina Cookery to learn about traditional Vietnamese cuisine. This cooking class is a fun and delicious way to explore Hoi An.

We will share an assortment of family recipes with you and lead you through the process of preparing the dishes from the local market to the table. Choose one of the menu options below and we'll learn how to make each dish together.

Enjoy this unique experience and impress your friends at home with these new dishes.

Menu 1:

Mangos salad with prawns
Water spinach with garlic
Chicken with lemongrass and chili
Hoi An pancake

Menu 2:

Leina spring rolls
Vegetable soup with prawns
Clay pot fishes
Beef with tomatoes and onions

Menu 3

Special rural vegetable village
Rings Calamari crispy with plum sauce
Leina springs rolls
Hoi An pancake with prawns and pork

Menu 4:

Tofu with lemongrass
Eggplants crispy

"AMAZING!"

We had a fantastic evening with Nya. We booked day of and were the only 2 in the class, which meant we had a really personal experience and could try everything. She focusses on simple, tasty dishes that can be made in your home country, so it's very practical. We also got beers to enjoy with our meal. Her husband was a star for taking lots of pictures too, documenting the process. There aren't many cooking classes in the evening that don't involve the boats, markets etc. (which can be a bit touristy) I can't recommend Leina's Cookery enough! 10/10 experience.

"Amazing and unforgettable experience."

Leina’s cookery was an amazing experience in Hoi An. We turned up expecting a group class, but we were pleasantly surprised by a table full of food setup outside the owner's cafe just for us! We were greeted with a refreshing juice drink before we started cooking. We were guided through, step by step, how to cook traditional Vietnam dishes from scratch. Picked up lots of clever tricks to try at home. They even took photos of us throughout and explained steps so we could take notes. We enjoyed each meal after we cooked it with a cold beer. They were brilliant hosts who made us feel very welcome in their cafe/kitchen. We could not recommend this experience enough if you want to try Vietnamese food and like cooking!

We did a cooking class at Leina Cookery, and it was very nice. We learned a lot of new things and had a very good meal! We really liked to do the cooking class here :)

Leina was amazing, small group of three of us and she showed us how to make 4 classic Vietnamese dishes which were all amazing. Even took photos for us throughout and sent the recipes afterwards. Would recommend!!!

"Great cooking class with easy and authentic recipes."

We had an amazing experience with Leina! Before the class we could choose between 4 menus (1 veggie option!), each 4 courses. Leina was very friendly and helpful! The dishes we cooked were quite easy, and Leina gave us great tips to be able to remake them at home.
