In this class, you will learn the art of authentic ramen cooking and gyoza dumpling making with a professional ramen chef.

Your instructor, Chef Yoshi Shishido, brings a wealth of experience from running his own restaurant, Crescent Ramen in Sydney, Australia, as well as training at some of Tokyo’s most renowned ramen shops, including Hayashida and Takahashi. Finding an instructor with such an international background and the ability to teach in English is a rare opportunity in Japan. Plus, Our chef is from Utsunomiya, Japan’s famous “Gyoza Capital.”

In this class, you’ll learn authentic Utsunomiya-style gyoza techniques and enjoy making dumplings with real local flavor.

Along the way, you’ll also enjoy insider stories and entertaining anecdotes from the ramen world, making this a truly unique and memorable culinary experience.

Cronograma

• First things first, we'll craft semi-soft boiled eggs.
• Then, we'll dive into prepping ramen toppings, followed by slicing and combining the ingredients for our gyoza, which we'll then deftly fold.
• We'll infuse the chashu with its delightful flavors and sizzle up the gyoza to perfection.
• The grand finale includes crafting the soup, boiling the noodles, and the oh-so-cool noodle draining technique that never fails to impress.
• Finally, we'll artfully assemble the toppings onto the ramen. Trust me, learning the ins and outs of ramen creation will undoubtedly deepen your love for this dish.
