We booked this class on the recommendation of friends, and it did not disappoint. We loved the experience, from the market visit to the organic garden, and of course the class itself. The hosts were all very friendly and helpful. We had two children with us (aged 13 and 11) who enjoyed getting stuck into the food prep and cooking and every dish we made was tasty. We would definitely do this class again and recommend to others.
We've enjoyed the experience a lot. Mister Da has picked us up from the hotel, brought us to the market and explained about the local groceries, and then we arrived at his farm where we could see how some of the local herbs grow. Mister Da guided us through every step of cooking a full lunch and answered every question. The open kitchen at the farm is really nice. And all the dishes turned out really tasty! Overall, very recommended!
I could have not imagined a better one. Communication before the event was excellent and pick-up were smooth. I contacted 3 other schools until I found this school where our 2 children were welcome. They were able to help and even were served their own little dish. The menu itself was delicious and the Chef was very supportive, friendly and always smiling :)
Beyond exceptions. I would never believe learning so much about Thai cooking in a such short period of time: 5 dishes, products, herbs and everything you need to know to reproduce the experience at home. The team is amazing, and the place (a bit outside Chang Mia) is beautiful. I shared this moment with my son (10y) and he loved it as well.
Extremely well organized and efficient. Everyone participates at own station. Instructors cook capable of explaining and demonstrating multiple selected recipes/dishes at same time. Take home great cookbook in both hard copy and digital. Good value and highly recommend.
Very experienced and friendly instructors. Makes cooking delicious meals seem so easy. They will also accommodate to personal preferences. Very fun experience.
My wife and I really enjoyed this excellent cooking experience. Oui is a true food artist and an excellent communicator. Highly recommended.
After a warm and friendly welcome, we were led around the nice picked some fruit and spices, learned a lot about herbs (the differences between varieties of coriander, some types of lemongrasses…). The cooking class was perfectly prepared, we learned how to make a good kao soi and a fine tom sum. And banana in coconut milk. We sat and talked to the family, they speak English very well, Mae (who is an architect) has lived in Washington. Mae‘s mother then beat me in a game of darts, we sat and chatted and parted as friends. Do not miss it! To get there you should take a Grab to the dirt road where Mae‘s husband picks you up with his 4WD which is useful on the dirt road.
Very good experience, we highly recommend it! We greatly appreciated our cooking teacher and all his team who took care of us. We were lucky to have a great group (countries: America, Scotland, France) with whom we were able to exchange, and have a great time.
What an awesome and pleasant experience. I had attended a class at Thai Akha Kitchen a few days before and this class is so much better. Friendlier teacher, more staff to help, better recipes, more spacious, more fans, and airier. Ju and staff did a great, great job. It’s so obvious that they take pride in their food culture and wanted to share as much as they can. Price point also perfect! Highly recommend.
Honestly the most amazing morning. Perfect from start to finish. Very clear instructions in perfect English. Highly recommended!
This was one of my all-time favorite experiences and have already recommended to several people I’ve met in Thailand. Ploy has curated a wonderful tour of the market visit where you get to try a few treats, then you get to her farm where you pick herbs and small veggies. Lastly you choose your menu (dietary restrictions are easily accommodated) and cook easy to do recipes that are extremely delicious- you will not go hungry! Making the curry paste was a highlight. The staff is wonderful and helpful along the way, the food was incredible, and we can’t wait to make this at home. Glowing review for Ploy and her team!
The cooking class was great, starting with the market tour and the fresh ingredients picking at the farm, and then the class itself: the instructions were great, and we ACTUALLY COOKED (in some other classes you just assist someone or do very little other than clean and cut veggies). Paint, Plow and the whole Baan Farm team were very welcoming and made sure we had a good time. And most importantly, the food was delicious (and very generous!) we all cooked 5 dishes, that you can chose in every category: 1 appetizer, 1 soup, 1 curry (+make your curry paste), 1 stir fried and 1 dessert. It’s perfect. Thank you.
Noodle is the best when it comes to cooking classes! With her lovely and kind personality, she teaches the best Thai recipes. We went out with the biggest smile and fullest stomach, so come to the cooking class really hungry!!
Benny’s class is different than the rest. She takes you to the local market and talks about the food as well as the local people who are there selling their products. There are no other cooking school tours there, just locals and you. She and her kitchen fairies open up their home to guide you through a beautiful class of meal preparation, step-by-step instructions, humor, and fun. Her recipes are fantastic! I couldn’t imagine a better experience.
I loved the chef! He had great energy, made us all laugh and we learned a lot :)
I absolutely loved it. She first asked me what dishes I wanted to learn. We then went to the market, where she explained the ingredients I could use to prepare the dishes. After that, we started the cooking. She was supportive, helpful, and friendly, she took pictures. I learned how to cook some Thai dishes, I got an amazing experience out of it. And a really great self-made meal. She also gave me a recipe in PDF.
So glad we chose this class, picked it up on time, an interesting look around the food market. You have to choose which dishes to make. Ricko was an excellent teacher, she was very efficient and managed to keep all 7 of us interested and following her instructions even when we were making different dishes, it was a fun afternoon. Note do not eat before you go as you get to eat all the dishes you make. Highly recommend.
Must-do if you stay in Chiang Mai. You first begin with a local market where you taste and discover Thai fruits and specialties. After you go to the farm where you pick your ingredients then you learn and cook and finally, you eat/taste all your dishes! The special touch is the good mood of our guests and the memories/pictures done during the activity!
We learned a lot in a relaxed atmosphere with an excellent and funny teacher. Looking forward to cooking Thai Food in Germany.
I attended with two guests who were visiting Chiang Mai. We thoroughly enjoyed our day (we did the morning session). The van collected us at the prearranged point on time and from there the whole day ran seamlessly. We read other reviews and they didn’t have breakfast as there was so much food to cook and eat. The facilities were top class and Jasmine the instructor was excellent. It was a highlight for our guests and tremendous value for money. Thai Akha is the best of the best in Chiang Mai! Book your class and don’t miss out!
We loved our cooking class experience with Paint! Communication and pickup were smooth, he was knowledgeable and inviting, and the food was delicious. You get to choose 5 dishes each, so between my and my husband’s choices, plus the generous sharing of dishes between other members of our group, we got to try so many yummy authentic dishes. We were able to take away leftovers and got recipes so we’ll be cooking these at home for years! Going to the market and picking fresh ingredients on their little farm was fun and helped us understand the layers of flavor that go into Thai dishes better. This was one of our favorite things we did in Chiang Mai
Jasmin our teacher was fantastic. We booked as a family with 3 children aged 16, 16 and 19. The experience only increased our love for Thai food and the information about the Akha Tribe was interesting. We loved the market trip. The kitchen facilities and setup were amazing. Jasmin was so brilliant even the food that we cooked was amazing and tasted authentic! So glad we read in other reviews beforehand about the volume of food likely to be eaten being huge so we thankfully did not eat breakfast as was advised. All of the other people on our course were friendly and interesting coming from varied backgrounds and different countries. We thoroughly enjoyed this and it unexpectedly turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Chiangmai (was booked as an afterthought for a rainy day). I would definitely do it again and highly recommend it.
I had the best time cooking lovely dishes. The ingredients were fresh, the process was simple and accessible. The result was stunning! I read a review about the class being a bit rushed, I do not think that was the case at all! We had plenty of time to cook and enjoy our meals. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about Thai food and enjoy delicious meals.
The booking process and communication were easy, and we got a confirmation very soon. We had a wonderful experience with Thai Ahka cooking school. Everything was so organised and well planned. We had 11 dishes, and everything was delicious. Great value for money! We even had a printed cookbook to take home. The price on cookly is much better also.
After walking in a (very) local market to explain us what we see : products, fruits, vegetables etc… our cooking teacher Ju and her husband drove us to their kitchen : a large open space. Ju took time to show, smell, touch every ingredients we need to prepare or chosen dishes. My daughters (14 yo and 11 yo) and I have been cooked like a real Thai chef ! We were advised at each step of the receipt. And then we ate ! Delicious. Ju was patient, kind and pedagogic. After that she drove back to our house with our meals in take away. Most incredible experience with Ju and her team ! I really recommend ! Thanks Ju !
We had a great experience with Ploy and her team who were very friendly and welcoming. We chose 5 dishes to cook each, giving us a variety of dishes to try and the results were great! Very satisfying and authentic and we learnt a lot. They answered all our questions about Thai food too. The farm was very cute and fun to pick our own ingredients. Made for a fun day out with the family. Clean place, lovely fresh food and nice people - highly recommend!
Ploy is one of the best teachers I ever had. I was also here four years ago and I knew that when I would return to Chiang Mai, I had to go back to Baan Farm Cooking school. From the market tour, were you will taste amazing local fruit, to picking the fresh herbs and the cooking class, everything is perfect! Would recommend everybody who wants to learn authentic Thai dishes in a fun and cool way!!
Both the market tour and the harvest of the herbs on the farm and the cooking were great! It was a lot of fun and the employees were really great. I can only recommend it to everyone!
This cooking class was an amazing cultural experience. Da, the local organic farmer, took us to the market first to get some of the ingredients. Then, we went to his house where he taught us how to cook 5 different dishes. The setting was outdoors under his covered patio, and he gave us great insights with his expertise. To top it, Da had a great demeanor. He was professional and a lot of fun.
The class was great! Gift is a really good teacher. She taught us a lot about the fruits and veggies on the local market and in the beautiful garden. The food we made was absolutely delicious. We were the only ones there together with a couple, being in a small group was nice and peaceful.
This was a great experience! - we started by visiting a local food market. It was outside of city center, so it was not crowded. Our Chef showed us differences between most popular herbs. We could also taste local fruts. - every participant can select 5 dishes to cook. My and my wife have selected different one, so we had a chance to cook and taste 10 different things! - we have allergy for gluten and we were able to prepared ALL means in Gluten free versions! - the food was very good and our Chef was super friendly and super helpfull!
We had such a great time baan farm Thai cooking school. We first went to the market where we tried some local snacks and fruits. We learnt about the different herbs we would be using that day. And then we went to the farm where we picked our own herbs. After that we started cooking, we cooked so many dishes. It was very well planned and super informative. We really loved the experience and the food was fantastic!
This was my first cooking class ever, and it was a great one to start with! Their description listed 7 categories, but we only did 5 for our class. You were able to pick your own dish out of each category. We did a brief tour of their herb garden and a brief visit to the local spice/produce market down the street. Received a short cookbook that described the dishes and ingredients we used in the class. Would highly recommend!
I recently had the pleasure of attending a cooking class led by Pent and his sister Ploy, who not only exceeded my culinary expectations but also went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergies. First and foremost, we need to thank Pent, our driver and market tour guide. His deep knowledge, understanding, and empathy toward food allergies were immediately apparent. They were well-prepared to cater to diverse dietary needs, ensuring that everyone in the class felt safe and comfortable. The level of care and attention they demonstrated was truly commendable.
The host was sweet and helpful while the activities, market, picking fresh herbs from the garden and cooking was a delight. Don’t worry if you have never cooked before this class does many of the prep work for you. My favourite part besides eating was smashing up my own curry paste.
I always thought making Thai food from scratch would be a challenge but Poy made it look so easy and now I’m more confident than ever in my ability to make spring rolls, tom kha, and khao soi. I really walked away from this cooking class feeling like I learned delicious recipes that I’m going to make dozens of times
It was really enjoyable. I think especially because I love to eat, I appreciated the fact that we got to enjoy 11 dishes. It was fun starting off going through the local market and being shown some of the common Thai ingredients (esp because usually I avoid out of inability to communicate and never knowing how to tell what's good versus bad haha). The cooking class itself was awesome. Despite my own introversion and not being a huge fan of small talk, it was nice interacting with people from different backgrounds, sharing thoughts and some laughs, and just being kind humans to one another. Jasmine was the guide, and she did a splendid job. Other than being funny (to me anyway), she just engaged everyone in such a warm and friendly way, giving clear examples for us to follow, and ensuring everyone was enjoying their dishes. Besides her, there was one silent but consistent worker in the back who diligently accepted our dishes and cleaned them (unfortunately don't know name). Then there was Ming, also diligently working in the background to prepare ingredients for the next dish as we enjoyed a recently made dish as well as giving us ingredients to prepare for the next cooking. I appreciated the 4 breaks we had to enjoy our meals throughout the cooking day. Super appreciative of the cookbook because I'd definitely forget the majority of ingredients and steps to make the yummy meals I somehow made. Overall, I feel like if you just want to enjoy your day, have some laughs, learn a little bit about a culture you might never otherwise, and enjoy yummy food, then you'll really enjoy your time here.
My partner and I had such an amazing time- Oui was so passionate about her food and was a great teacher, and so fun and easy to get on with. Everything from the market tour to having lunch in her beautiful home was perfect! 100% recommended- can’t wait to come back next year for round 2!
What a wonderful time! Benny's strong vision and sense of purpose was evident in every detail of the class, whether it be the small group setting that made for easy conversation and bonding, the relaxed pace of preparation that gave everyone time both work at their own pace and savor the food, or the use of the family garden and family members to create a truly homey atmosphere. Moreover, all the dishes were relatively simple to prepare, requiring few esoteric ingredients or difficult techniques, ensuring that one can take what they learn during the class home. Highly recommended.
We didn’t realize it was a private dinner class just with the two of us until we got picked up, and it was such an amazing experience! There is an extensive menu of dishes you can pick from, and since we’re not dessert people, Lin gave us the option to pick an additional dish in place of the dessert. She answered all our questions (and we had many). It was amazing being able to ask someone who was so knowledgeable about food all of our questions. We highly recommend the Lanna cuisine course and we’ll definitely do it again if we come back. Pretty sure everything on the menu is delicious so we didn’t need to agonize over choosing dishes so much! We’ve been cooking from the little cookbook she gave us at the end and it’s hard to get fresh ingredients here in the US but it’s still delicious!
My husband and I took this class during our honeymoon and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The chef was kind and patient, the walk through the market was enlightening and it is definitely a great way to experience Thai cooking
The cooking teachers were very kind and welcoming. We first visited a local market and then their farm which was beautiful :) the food we cooked was delicious. It was really interesting to be aware of the whole process behind a thai dish! I recommend to everyone, you'll have an amazing time. Thank you for this experience :)
First of all, Oui is such a lovely and warm person. We immediately felt in good hands with her. The cooking day itself was very nice. First the visit to the market and then the family get-together at Oui's home. The time went by so quickly. Definitely a recommendation. Gladly again :)
We had a great time with Paint as we toured a local food market, learned about the special herbs, spices and sauces that make Thai dishes so special, and had a blast cooking at their farm. Really appreciate how easily they accommodated our dietary requests (vegetarian and a seafood allergy). All of the food tasted amazing and luckily there were take away boxes because there was too much food for us to eat. Note: this was our first time doing a cooking class where you get to choose the dish you want to make for each course, which was a welcome surprise. Thanks you, Paint!
Loved this class! We had a great time and all the food we cooked was so delicious. Niti did a great job making the class engaging and interesting and learned some new tricks in the kitchen that I’ll definitely be taking back home. Highly recommend :)
After a convenient hotel pick up service we went to a local market where we were taught about different ingredients. Thereafter we went to the farm, where we collected fresh herbs and peppers. We cooked five Thai courses and they were wonderful! Definitely recommend following a course with these nice people.
My husband and I took a morning class with Baan Farm cooking school in Chiang Mai. The host picked us up promptly at our Airbnb and we drove to the market for fresh ingredients. The market was large and very fun to see! Next, we drove to the farm and picked some ingredients necessary for the dishes we planned to make. The instruction and process of preparing each dish was clear and we will be able to prepare these dishes at home, although we may have see if we can get some ingredients once we return home, like kaffir lime, or butterfly pea flower for making blue rice. The food was delicious. The other participants were fun to meet and we had a nice conversation as we ate our lunch. Afterwards, we had enough take away for dinner at our airbnb. A bonus! We happily recommend Baan Farm's cooking class to anyone visiting Chiang Mai
Our teacher New was very friendly and we had a lot of fun while learning new things. The food was really good and I liked the small group so we can ask all our questions. It was a cool experience.
I definitively recommend taking a cooking class in Chiang Mai and this one was really great ! You start with a tour of their garden where they grow some ingredients themselves, then you visit the local market and they explain how they use popular ingredients, and then it's time for cooking ! Cooking was fun and easy and the best part of the class is that you get to meet other travelers and exchange with them while cooking !
We loved the class, very informative and so much fun!
Where can I begin! Pat our instructor was wonderful, insightful & funny :) she really made our experience 10 times better! The class is structured really nicely. We started off at the market where she explained some of the ingredients we would be using during the class. We then made our way to the beautiful garden where the classes are held and wow!! There were around 5 or 6 pavilions (where our class was hosted) all surrounded by organic gardens which provided the ingredients we used for our recipes. The pavilion was spectacular - we each had our own work station with a burner which was meticulously prepared with the ingredients we would be needing throughout. We made a soup, pad thai & curry in that order - eating what we prepared and moving forward with the next dish. The ingredients were very fresh - which is what made the food even more delicious! We really had a great time and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for an authentic cooking class in Chiang Mai! I will be sharing more pictures on my instagram!
The chef explained all very good. She was also really funny. The prepared meals tasted very good. We cooked in a small group of 6 people. The farm is nice. You can decide between 3 meals within 3 kategories. At least you have 3 meals + dessert and tea. We recommend the cooking class to everybody!!
Well organised! Ploy picked us up and showed us a local market. The course on her familys farm was impressive. We learned so much! Thanks!
Ploy ist such a lovely and nice Person. We were the only one at the cooking class . So we Got a Personal class. We enjoyed every Minute and the food was very delicious. Thank you for the great time!!
Very friendly host/cook/teacher, fresh ingredients, detailed instructions and we enjoy the hospitality very much.
If you’re looking for a great day GO HERE! I can’t believe how beautiful every part was, from the incredibly welcoming family to their gorgeous dogs, stunning views and organic garden, we were shown every part and learnt so much about Thai ingredients and meals. The young ladies teaching us were absolutely amazing, so much fun and we all had such a laugh together! I will be telling everyone to come here if they want to learn about Thai cooking, the wholesome family vibe is wonderful. Thank you ever so much ☺️
This was the perfect class! I loved the market, I loved the garden, I loved the cooking and I loved the eating. I make Thai food at home and with this class I learned all kinds of new tricks! We had a perfect class!
We had a perfect 10 experience! The driver was punctual for pick up at our hotel and the drive to the farm was about 30 minutes. From the moment we arrived we were met with professional, happy -‘d knowledgeable staff. We had an absolute blast with the people we met as well with our own family. We cannot recommend this place enough!
To say we enjoyed this cooking class is an understatement. Kru Trichada is an excellent teacher and such a lovely person. We can’t wait to take her next class.
We had a lovely experience with Aoy! We went to the market and we had the opportunity to ask many questions about Thai cuisine and ingredients. I went with my husband and we chose 4 dishes each (so we prepared 8 different specialities in total!), and some days later we received the recipes and we have already prepared some of them back home. We definitely recommend this activity to anyone, it was fun and interesting.
This was a good value class, with easy to make, tasty Thai dishes. I liked that we could choose our own dishes rather than all cooking the same. Making our own curry paste was fun too! If you do the afternoon class make sure you have sun protection - there's not much shade in the transportation on the way there if there's a traffic jam.
Mai was so great with her good mood and her help throughout the class, we enjoyed it so much. The whole thing is really smooth from the pick up to the drop off. I was a little worried that my 9 year old son would get bored but not at all. Thank you all for giving us such a great time. And a big thank you to Mai for making it special for us
Convinced my husband to join me in a cooking class so we could make Thai food at home. The fact that we each picked our own dishes and cooked them ourselves was great. He made what he liked and I made what I liked. Whole classes was engaging from conversation at pickup, through the market, on the farm, making the dishes, and sitting down to enjoy and share what we made. Highly recommend Ploy for a 1/2 day of peaceful time on the farm and great eats.
What a wonderful experience! It starts with a tour of the local market and an explanation of key Thai produce. Then you shift over to the organic farm/cooking school where Mai and her colleagues take you through the garden before teaching you how to cook three types of dishes. Each person can choose their own individual dishes, which makes it a nice option for kids. We are a family of four with two kids ages 11 and 12. This class was a highlight from our time in Chiang Mai and gave the kids a much deeper appreciation of Thai cuisine and culture. Highly recommend!
Aoy and Jay were smiling right from when they picked us up at our hotel until the final bite. They took us on a market tour and explained things that was on the menu and even items that looked interesting that were not on the menu. When we started cooking, Aoy explained each ingredient and how to properly prepare it depending on which dish was being made. Their patience and guidance during the entire class was exceptional. The food was delicious and I can not wait to make these meals for my family back in Canada.
I had a solo session with Trichada today and from the very beginning it was an absolute dream. She picked me up from my hotel, and we then went to a local market where she taught me about different Thai ingredients, and also picked some up for the dishes I wanted to make. She seems to have a great relationship with the different vendors, and they were very gracious in letting me try little bites of things. We then went to her house where the kitchen is set in a beautiful outdoor garden. She started me with some tea and coffee, and immediately I felt so at home. We then spent the next five or so hours cooking, and she gave me all the little tricks and secrets. I felt like I was cooking with my new Thai mom. Everything was amazingly delicious, and beautifully presented. It’s obvious she takes great pride in the work she does. She was more than happy to answer all my questions both food and culture related, and just an all around calming presence. I cannot say enough great things about her class. Seriously, just book it.
The class was great! My husband and I made 5 different dishes, so had 10 to taste and enjoy at the end of the class. So much food but you can take away any leftovers. Ploy can multitask like no other! I cannot wait to make these recipes when I am back home.
I highly recomment this cooking class. It's just cool to cook with claypots over fire. Lyn is a very good instructor and loves teaching and sharing her knowlegde, not only about cooking also about living. We had a lot of fun. Thank you very much.
I had a great time with Asia Scenic. Before cooking, our teacher gave some explanations about Thai cooking and different herbs and she also took us to the nearby market. During our cooking class, each step was guided thoroughly and the teacher gave an example first so that we knew what to do. At the end of the class, they gave us a small cookbook and it's such a nice memento from them. My favorite thing was when we were in their garden at the back and we got to see different herbs there. The place is also clean and spacious. With the price that they offered, it's definitely something I'd recommend people to do while in Chiang Mai.
This was an amazing experience!! Beautifully arranged. We were picked up promptly from our hotel, given a menu to pick dishes to pick from ( 1 appetizer, 1 soup, 1 entree, 1 curry, 1 dessert). Then we went to a local market and tried to some yummy fruit and had time to explore market. We then were driven to Baan farm cooking school. We were able to pick out some home grown spices , flowers, fruits to have in our dishes. There was a complimentary tea upon welcome. A beautiful butterfly pea tea. Then we began cooking our dishes. Our host was so sweet and amazing. We were so full by end of it. The dishes were beyond delicious. Highly recommend this booking!!!
This class exceeded all expectations! The food was fantastic, the farm was fantastic, we had food left over that we took home and feeding the big fish was an awesome extra! Could not recommend more
An absolutely great way to spend half a day. I highly recommend this class, it is well worth it. The host ploy is very kind and knowledgeable of the Thai ingredients A lovely local market to visit. Picking fresh herbs from the garden. The food we prepared and ate was absolutely delicious. It was very calm and enjoyable Well worth the money I highly recommend Thank you so much
Between the market tour and farm experience, cooking is one of many incredible aspects of this tour. Ploy was a wonderful hostess and we couldn’t recommend this class enough.
This cooking class was such a nice experience. We got picked up from our hotel and first went to a local market. Our guide/cook Paint explained some things about local Thai ingredients and how to use them, which was very interesting. We also tasted some delicious fruits. Then we went to the cooking school which was in a nice calm area. He showed us around the herbs garden and explained which herbs we needed to pick for our chosen dishes. The cooking class itself was very informative and everything was organized so smoothly! We had cooked a lot of delicious food but takeaway boxes were provided. I can recommend this class very much!
Joy was a great teacher, The school is located in an amazing spot, Very clean natural and lots of nature it’s a beautiful open space you literally cook outside(there’s a rooftop lol), You also get to go and look at the garden at each one of the ingredient you will use. We got a lot of attention to each one of the students, really personal and cool experience. I really feel like I learned and not just cooked, by the way our dishes were the best! I highly recommend to go and enjoy this experience I have done some classes before with some other schools but this one was my favorite one!
We absolutely loved the cooking class ! It was such a nice day out and it made such a difference being able to get all the herbs and ingredients from the farm ourselves! Would definitely do it again! And the hosts were all so Friendly and helpful !
Had an amazing time at this cooking class - it was a very small group, very cosy and private class. We went to the market where they explained the different veggies and spices and in the class we were taught the different dishes and thai cooking style. Everything was so delicious and we had so much fun.
It was wonderful learning some of the secrets of Northern Thai cuisine.
We enjoyed the cooking class so much! From the very beginning it was a very well thought out and enjoyable experience. The day went by seamlessly and I really enjoyed the small extra details. At the market, we were given delicious little snacks to start the day. We loved being able to pick our own vegetables, it was a great touch! In between courses, we were given lots of food to feed the fish in their pond. The cooking part itself was well explained and very successful. The food was delicious and as an added bonus we happened to love the music selection for the day. Would definitely recommend!
I liked how easy it was to book the class and how the school had organised our transportation. It was so easy to communicate with the business via email and they were very prompt with all my queries! Market experience was great and the run down of all the traditional herbs and spices will definitely help me with my future Thai cooking. All the dishes we made were super tasty! Everything was fresh and the little home was well presented! Will highly recommend this to friends who visit Chiang Mai!
Dia gave us an amazing foodtour at a local market to explain different kind of Thai ingredients. After that we started with the cooking class at a beautiful place. We Made 5 of our favorite thai dishes. Dia explained everything really good and she was funny and sweet. A good experience and a ‘must do’ in Chiang Mai! I can highly recommend this cooking class if you are interested in Thai food and like small groups with personal attention! :)
Absolutely amazing class with fresh ingredients and it was customed so I still can make it back home!! Definitley reccomend and even if you're not vegan/vegetarian it's worth going since there is SO much we can do without meat. Thank you so much I had a great time :)
Me and my partner had a great time today! We went to the market and learnt about all the traditional Thai vegetables and ingredients that we would be using. Then at the class we made each course and then got to eat it! The girls talked us through each step and even the prep of each dish. We thoroughly enjoyed it and had a great group to work with. Picked up and dropped off at our hotel, amazing tasting food and great company. Highlight of our trip- a must do!
Everything was so perfect from the pick-up, visit to the market, until the class itself. We were lucky to be the only participants and we really learnt a lot. The school is so beautiful and everything is set up so nicely. Our teacher was amazing! So funny and she really knows a lot. Please do this course!
Arriving home to cook for my family and Friends!
My meal was excellent, the energy within the class was awesome, staff was enthusiastic!!! I was so full from my first 2 dishes that I had to bring the last dish in a takeout container. I would recommend this to my friends!!! Great job guys...
My friend and I enjoyed every moment of the class! The people, location and cooking are just perfect! And of course the meals are delicious :) would definitly recommend. Thanks for the great afternoon!
This course was excellent! The tour to the local market was very informative and the course itself was so much fun! I was the only one that day so i had a private course with Nan the teacher. She was so kind and funny and the food we made was unbelievable delicious! I highly recommend this course to everyone who loves to cook and likes vegan and thai kitchen!
I cannot say enough good things about We Love Green! The school is a nice space and well-equipped with the materials you need to bring authentic Thai dishes to life. However it was the outstanding kindness and knowledge of the team that really made this a must-do experience. Nem is so funny, outgoing and positive - I know she is only a visiting chef, but I can’t recommend her or We Love Green enough!
