Set in a stunning location with a picturesque view of the vegetable garden and the Co Co Review, our cooking class is an ideal stop for lunch or dinner and a perfect place to learn how to cook Vietnamese food. 

We will use the freshest herbs, vegetables, meat, and seafood purchased from the famous Tra Que Village and its local market. The experience starts with a tour of this market, shopping for the necessary ingredients. 

We commit to offering you a truly fresh, tasty, and authentic local food experience by making our own created recipes.

• You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Hoi An by a friendly guide in an air-conditioned vehicle at 8:00 AM.
• Enjoy a brief introduction to the day’s activities as you travel to the local market.
• Visit a bustling local market in Hoi An, where you’ll experience the vibrant atmosphere and learn about traditional ingredients. With guidance from your instructor, select fresh herbs, vegetables, and spices for the cooking class. Taste some local snacks or fruits offered by vendors.
• Head to the lush Bay Mau Coconut Village, surrounded by water coconut palms.
• Enjoy the scenic drive as your guide shares stories about the village and its history. Embark on a unique ride in a round bamboo boat, navigating through the serene waterways of the coconut forest. Participate in fun activities like crab fishing or learning traditional paddling techniques. Capture beautiful photos and enjoy the tranquil setting.
• Arrive at a local cooking school in the village or near the river. Relax with a refreshing welcome drink and a short introduction to the cooking session.
• Choose 4 dishes from a list of 10 traditional Vietnamese dishes (examples include pho, banh xeo, fresh spring rolls, and grilled fish in banana leaves). Learn cooking techniques and cultural stories behind each dish from a professional chef.
• Cook under supervision and savor the aroma of your creations. Enjoy the fruits of your labor in a cozy dining area with your group.
• Relax during the scenic drive back to your hotel. Reflect on the day’s experiences, with plenty of photos and memories.
