What to Expect
In this hands-on cultural cooking experience, you will create an Art Character Bento (Art Charaben) inspired by “Red Fuji”, one of the most iconic works by Katsushika Hokusai, a world-renowned Japanese artist.
Using rice, colorful ingredients, and traditional techniques, you will design a beautiful bento box that expresses the blue sky and the vivid red Mount Fuji—a symbol deeply loved by the Japanese people and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
This experience offers a unique way to enjoy Japanese art, culture, and food all at once.

Please arrive at the designated Patia cooking studio before the class begins. Our studios are conveniently located in the Shinjuku, Chiyoda, and Minato wards. Detailed directions and venue information will be sent to you three days prior to the event.
