“Grandma’s Table” – Cooking a Full Cretan Meal

Appetizers:

• Village Salad – Greek salad with fresh, local ingredients

• Tzatziki – Yogurt, cucumber, and garlic dip

• Fava – Mashed yellow split peas with olive oil and onions

• Dakos – Cretan barley rusk topped with tomato and cheese

Main Course:

• Lamb Casserole with Green Beans – Slow-cooked lamb with green beans, based on our grandmother’s recipe

Dessert:

• Loukoumades with Honey – Fried puff pastry drizzled with honey

“The Garden of Crete” – Vegetarian Cretan Cuisine

Appetizers:

• Tzatziki – Yogurt, cucumber, and garlic dip

• Dakos – Cretan barley rusk topped with tomato and cheese

• Fava – Mashed yellow split peas with olive oil and onions

• Fried Zucchini – Lightly battered and fried fresh zucchini slices

Main Course:

• Stuffed Vegetables – Tomatoes, peppers, and zucchini flowers filled with rice and local herbs

Dessert:

• Loukoumades with Honey – Fried puff pastry drizzled with honey
