Taste of Tuscany primarily refers to a collection culinary experience dedicated to authentic Tuscan food and wine. In a general sense, it describes the region's famous cucina povera (peasant cooking), which focuses on simple, seasonal ingredients that are now worldwide known as signature dishes of the Tuscan traditions. You will be guided from the Chef to create a fully costumized menù with tradiotional recipes & seasonal fresh ingredients. We will focus on the preparation of tne menu, from appetizers to dessert.

A very special location for this unique culinary experience, enjoy a 4 hour cooking class with a professional chef and sommelier. A fully costumised experience with food/wine pairing in Siena.

This is a fully customized cooking experience, the main focus will be on handmade pasta & Tuscan flavors. 

You will be asked to choose 2 different dishes from the Tuscan traditional recipes. Here are a few samples:

• Ravioli with ricotta&lemon
• Pici all'Aglione
• Hand-rolled thick Spaghetti with traditional garlic sauce
• Hand-rolled tagliatelle
• Gnocchi/Gnudi
• Cappellacci Borraggine&Pecorino
• Spaghetti alla chitarra

11:00 AM | Meeting
We will meet at our location, just a few steps from Piazza del Campo in Siena, and enjoy a traditional Tuscan aperitivo together.

11:30 AM | Hands-on Cooking Class
You will be guided step by step by the chef to create a 3-course fully customized menu, cooking each dish together.

12:30 PM | Sauce Making
Learn how to prepare two iconic Tuscan sauces to serve with your freshly made pasta.

1:30 PM | Lunch & Wine Pairing
Enjoy the lunch we prepared together, perfectly paired with a selection of Tuscan wines.

2:30 PM | Dessert & Espresso
We will finish our meal with a delicious dessert and a traditional Italian espresso.

Recipes, Cookbook & Pictures
At the end of the experience, you will receive a cookbook and a Polaroid photo as a special memory of the day.
