On my second visit to ‘To Be’, I managed use my skill learnt from the first class with B. Again, the class was conducted in a well thought manner with clean environment and utensils. The recipes were excellent and ingredients very fresh. It reminded me of family food that I had while growing up in Singapore. I am glad that I can prepare the fish soup myself now. In my second time visit to the market, I was ready to purchase products for personal use. Excellent value for money.
My instructors were so wonderful and knowledgeable about their craft. Thank you for the great experience
I highly recommend attending this cooking class. B is very experienced and has excellent knowledge of cooking methods. The techniques are taught in a patient and methodical way.Easy for anyone to follow, Cooking is very therapeutic and great for unwinding. The food is good quality, clean and kitchen is well set out. I will be going to another class soon. Value for money.
The cooking class was very inspiring. Starting with a visit to the local market, through preparing the ingredients, and finally cooking together. It was a wonderful time, I highly recommend it.
The tour of the market was absolutely outstanding!!! The team answered all of our questions and showed us some really unique items. It was super fun. The cooking class itself was outstanding as well with Chef showing us some great techniques and how to source ingredients even if we’re not in Thai
We did the afternoon class and it was a very nice change of pace from the rest of our trip. It probably could have been a bit more challenging (most things were prepared for us already and we just made a few sauces and cooked things in the wok) but I suppose you don't want to think too hard when you're on holidays! The food was tasty and there was a LOT of it at the end - make sure you skip lunch and arrive hungry!
Loved the tutors, loved the market tour Our teacher was very informative and so calming, we came away with so much more than what knew and I can’t wait to get home to try. I would do it in a heartbeat again and highly recommend them
We really enjoyed our time, we were expertly guided through all of the steps. Our chefs were passionately explaining why we use these specific ingredients in this specific way to make authentic Thai food. As a vegetarian, I can tell that they put a lot of thought in my dishes so I don’t miss out on any of the flavours. They were patient with us and extremely kind. We could take the food home that we couldn’t finish. 11/10 definitely recommend!
We had a fantastic afternoon with Wooddy and his staff, he was excellent in explaining exactly how you get to the flavours you enjoy in Thai cooking. We cooked a Green Curry, Tom Yum Kung soup (2 versions) Spring Rolls and Mango Rice for dessert. We also went to the local market to pick up our ingredients. Such a great afternoon we would thoroughly recommend it. Thanks again Wooddy and your staff. ❤️
We did a vegetarian Thai cooking class. The team was amazing, they catered to our dietary requirements. Learnt so much! We had the best experience nothing to fault. Would recommend to everyone.
Excellent class delivered by Wooddy; made it really easy to follow; he offered an educational session that exceeded our expectations. Just brilliant. Highly recommended by us . Oh and fun too !
It was a wonderful afternoon; everyone was very helpful. The ladies were all incredibly nice. The food was delicious. The market visit was very interesting and a great introduction...
Woody did an amazing job so informative and well spoken. The set up was super impressive and clean. My family did the half day class with 4 courses, it was an amazing experience with great foods.
Tik is an amazing teacher, really funny and helpful. The market trip was fun and the food yummy - we're still full the next day
The course began with a visit to the local market, where "Tiktak" explained the details of our ingredients. After that, we got right to the hands-on work... preparing the ingredients and then cooking them ourselves! We absolutely loved it; the meals we cooked ourselves were incredibly delicious!!
