Pick up was very well communicated, location sent by WhatsApp. Taken to the lady’s home which was lovely to experience. The whole morning was fantastic, and the food absolutely delicious. Even went to the markets before to purchase food and experience the vibes there. Definitely recommend as a must when in Koh Samui! 👌
We loved the cooking class. Short stroll at a local market, cooked nice food. Thanks
Our Host was a great teacher. Her knowledge and humour was exceptional. Our dishes all turned out and were easy to understand. Incredible Chef, made cooking a wonderful experience. We now have the best recipes for home. 😊
Our host June was amazing, from the moment she picked us up she was very informative and helpful. Walking around the market was very interesting, with June pointing out everything for us. The cooking was great fun, very simple and educational, June made it all so easy. Thanks for a great day! X
June picked us up and drove us through beautful part of the island. On the way we came upon an accident and she was calm and got an ambulance. I helped the gentlemen as I am a firefighter and my friend assisted with traffic and support. One particular woman brought wipes, an umbrella. The ambulance arrived and we carried on to our class. Her husband was spectacular helper bring out all the food we needed. She clearly explained the herbs and showed us in her beautful garden. Her direction was clear and supportive. We made amazing food. She then took us to a local market to show where to buy ingredients. She spoke great English and was a wonderful teacher. Thank you June. 🙏🏻❤️
The instruction was fast paced. Lots of hands on experiences. General knowledge of the many ingredients in Thai food was shared. It’s clear the chef has a passion for food and natural medicine. All round great experience.
It was just what I hoped it would be - a flying trip around the market to show us what products we might want as they will be used later in our own cooking. Authentic recipes cooked by a local so you learn exactly how they should be cooked. Excellent English and the afternoon was finished off with a lovely trip around the host’s herb and fruit garden
Three very well-explained and detailed recipes. Perfect hygiene conditions. Visit to the market and garden with a presentation of local products. Very friendly instructor, always in a good mood. The organization by Cookly was top-notch from departure to return to the hotel.
Great fun! Really accessible. June was wonderful! Definitely going to try to repeat this at home because it was so tasty and so easy!
The Class was very good, we learned so much about the thai food and herbs. It was a really good experiences in a small group.
Cooked 3 delicious dishes. Excellent explanation and a fun tour of the market and garden.
It was a very interesting class, would recommend anyone who loves Thai food to join this!
Loved the use of herbs from the garden and Jul’s knowledge that she imparted to our group (of 6). The flavours were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be off to the Asian supermarket on our return.
Our decision for this class was because we could choose 3 dishes individually and Jul did a great job teaching us all at the same time with the different courses My hubby and I made 6 different meals and it was way too much to eat at once so we could have some left overs as take away and enjoyed it later Jul did the class with passion for food, for cooking and for her country (explaining Thai-style) and was easy to follow as her english was very good. All up we both enjoyed this Event a lot. Thank you and all the best for her! ❤️
An amazing experience with Jul. Taught us so much. Made us very welcome and was brilliant throughout. Will book again if we return to Koh Samui.
