The entire experience was great, chef picked us up, offered each of us a variety of local dishes we could try to cook. We were amazed how quickly you can cook such a tasteful dish with just a few ingredients. We were super excited. In the end we got the recipe book (pdf). Totally recommend!
We had a great time learning how to cook Thai Food at Half Day Thai Cooking. Our instructor was very knowledgeable- teaching us about sweet, salty, sour, and spicy and with all of my family choosing different course options, we were able to learn how to cook practically everything on the menu. My 12 and 15 year old loved it and even my husband, who does not cook at all, had a great time. The food was amazing and we were stuffed by the end! We hope to be able to cook these dishes in our own home soon!
Great host, amazing food and a fun learning experience. Definitely recommend!
Amazing place, the resulted food is so delicious, some even better than in some restaurants! But best of all was Thiwa, who is an amazing chef that went us through everything while happily answering questions, giving advice, and having an amazing and positive attitude!
Well run and organised activity. I really liked being picked-up and dropped off by the cooking company. Our teacher was very good and explained each step very well. I would recommend this class
We took an evening cooking class and I can only recommend it. You get the chance to prepare a soup and a main course. After a break to taste your own creation, it’s time to make spring rolls or papaya salad and a curry of your choice. In the end, everyone prepares mango sticky rice. We also received a link to all the individual recipes at the end. A wonderfully spent afternoon!
I really can recommend this cooking class, if you're interested how to Do thai cooking
Sexxy Bunny was our instructor and she was fantastic! We made our own curry paste, spring rolls, soups, pad Thai and more! Highly recommend!
Our teacher “Sexy Bunny” was so much fun. She is very patient and thorough. Everything was delicious and I’m so great full for the recipe book to reattempt the beautiful dishes included in this class .
We were four family members, close to the end of our trip to Thailand, and this was truly one of the best experiences we had. The instructor picked us up from our hotel and brought us back afterwards. The cooking lesson was very enjoyable, and the food we prepared was absolutely delicious. At the end of the lesson, he even took us to a nearby grocery store and kindly helped us buy some ingredients that we don’t have at home.
The cooking class we took with Ann was wonderful. We cooked five dishes in total, and for three courses we got to choose between three options what we wanted to cook. I ended up making spring rolls, hot and sour shrimp soup, pad thai, green curry and mango sticky rice. Ann explained about the vegetables and cooking methods we were using and took her time to help everyone.
Really good class catered well for the kids as well so much gorgeous food and great recipes
One of my favourite excursions on my trip yet. Amazing chef, amazing food. Super educational, helpful, and knowledgeable. I loved the ENTIRE experience. Again, AMAZING FOOD!!!
Very nice hosts. We had to change the workshop date several times and they accepted it with a smile and understanding. They picked us up from the hotel and brought us back. The atmosphere was pleasant. Explanations were clear. We prepared basic but very tasty dishes. Highly recommend.
Such kind chef, delicious food, and a great idea to choose from a lot of great dishes. Good at accommodating people with dietary restrictions!
In Krabi, cooking classes often focus on classic Thai dishes such as Tom Yum Goong, Massaman curry, Pad Thai, fresh seafood curries, and the island’s signature coconut‑based soups.
Yes, many schools combine a guided tour of the Krabi Night Market or the local morning market with hands‑on cooking sessions where you learn to prepare street‑food favorites.
Absolutely. Most instructors offer plant‑based versions of traditional dishes and can accommodate gluten‑free or halal requirements.
Classes usually run for 2–3 hours, with groups of 4–8 people, allowing plenty of time for practice and tasting.
English is the most common language, with Thai and sometimes French or German available. Private or small‑group lessons can be arranged upon request.
Shoes are removed before entering the kitchen, it’s polite to greet the host with a wai, and using the right hand for serving food is customary.
During Songkran (Thai New Year) or Loy Krathong, some classes feature special recipes like sticky rice cakes or lotus‑flower desserts that celebrate the season.
Many participants are surprised by the opportunity to taste freshly caught seafood straight from the Andaman Sea, or to learn how to make aromatic Thai herbal tea right in the kitchen.
