Become a fan of Wayan

Wayan-san, the cooking class teacher, is a specialist who handles everything from transportation and market tours to cooking!!︎‼Even if you're not good at English, you can enjoy learning Balinese cuisine in a fun atmosphere. From the classroom, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the rice terraces, and you can spend meaningful time with everyone in a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The dishes you learn are undoubtedly the most delicious during your trip, showing off Wayan's skill. If you're undecided about choosing a cooking class, I highly recommend it ♡

Cooking class in Bali 🌺

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! If I had to do it again, I would do it without hesitation. I sincerely think that it is with the locals that we create the best memories and that we truly experience Bali. The guide explains each step of the dish preparation perfectly; the classes are very immersive and very, very lively! You will laugh, I assure you ✨ The dishes prepared are simple and easy to recreate at home. What I liked most is this closeness, as if each participant were a member of the family. We were also able to make offerings and understand their importance to the Balinese 🌺 The class is very comprehensive: visit to a traditional market, welcome drink, making offerings, preparing and tasting the meals, all in a magnificent and soothing setting 🧘🏽‍♀️ Believe me, you are going to have a great time and enjoy yourselves. Fun and delicious cooking class

We had a great afternoon with great food and fun time cooking. Everyone joined in and Jalan and his wife made it a good light hearted atmosphere while instructing us to cook a very tasty meal. We highly recommend for a fun and delicious meal

Must-Do Activity in Ubud

Our cooking class with Tumang Bali Cooking Class was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment Wayan, the owner, picked us up near Ubud Palace, he made us feel like family. We were welcomed with delicious snacks and drinks upon arrival, setting the tone for a warm and authentic experience. Not only did we learn how to prepare nine delicious Balinese dishes, but we also gained a deeper appreciation for Balinese culture. One of the most memorable parts was learning how to make the beautiful traditional offerings and understanding their significance in daily life. It was amazing to see that many of the ingredients we used came directly from Wayan’s farm. Walking through the property and learning about the fresh herbs, spices, and produce added a special touch that you simply won't find in most cooking classes. Wayan made the entire experience both fun and educational, sharing stories, cultural insights, and plenty of laughs along the way. By the end of the class, we felt like we had learned so much more than just cooking. We have taken a cooking class in nearly every country we have visited, and this one stands out by a big margin. We would absolutely take this class again and will be recommending it to all of our friends. If you're looking for an authentic, hands-on, and memorable experience in Bali, Tumang Bali Cooking Class is a must!
