As you know Vietnam is not only famous for its landscapes but also food. As its name, Hanoi Daily Cooking Class is a daily cooking course held in a restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter by a professional chef who loves sharing their cooking passion to everyone. Joining us, customers will learn typical and authentic food cuisine from Vietnam.

Customized Menu Experience

This is a customized cooking class menu. At the beginning of the class, guests will have a brief discussion with the chef to decide together which dishes to cook. Each participant can choose 2 dishes, and 1 additional dish will be recommended by the chef for the group.

• Cà Phê Trứng – Traditional Vietnamese egg coffee made with local coffee and whipped egg yolk, a beloved Hanoi specialty.

• Bia Trứng – Beer with whipped egg yolk, a unique Hanoi creation for adventurous palates. It might seem unusual at first, but it’s definitely worth a try!

Traditional Vietnamese Cuisine Options:

• Bún Chả – Grilled pork belly in a flavorful fish sauce dipping broth. Served with fresh rice noodles and local herbs.

• Phở Bò Hà Nội – Classic Hanoi-style beef noodle soup.

• Phở Gà Hà Nội – Hanoi-style chicken noodle soup.

• Nem Rán Hà Nội – Traditional deep-fried spring rolls filled with minced pork.

• Phở Cuốn Hà Nội – Fresh rice noodle rolls with stir-fried beef and herbs.

Schedule

Pickup by walking or motorbike from hotels located in the Hanoi Old Quarter.

• Morning Class: 7:30 AM – 7:45 AM
• Afternoon Class: 1:00 PM – 1:15 PM

• Upon arrival at the restaurant, enjoy a complimentary drink: tea, instant coffee, or water.

Menu Selection

• The chef recommends 3 dishes to cook.

• Enjoy a complimentary egg coffee or egg beer while the chef explains the dishes and ingredients.

Basic Vietnamese Language Lesson

• Learn useful Vietnamese phrases to interact with local vendors.

Local Market Tour

• Visit a traditional market with your guide to shop for fresh ingredients based on the class menu.

Cooking Session

• Learn to prepare the selected dishes step-by-step with the chef's guidance.

Enjoy Your Meal

• Sit down and enjoy the delicious dishes you’ve cooked from scratch.

Certificate Awarding

• Receive a certificate of completion for your culinary achievement.

Drop-Off at Hotel

• Return drop-off service is provided to hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter only.

• Afternoon Class Drop-off: Around 5:30 PM
