Our cooking school is known to vegetarians and vegans throughout the world. Our standard class is held over half a day either in the morning or afternoon. Schedules for both the morning and afternoon classes are listed below.

" Culture and Cooking: A True Authentic Experience "

What we liked: As vegetarians, we were able to uninhibitedly nibble, savor and relish every dish and ingredient. Our cooking class gave us a taste of traditional Thai culture and we loved learning a new skill that we can take back to our families to give them a taste of Thailand.
What to know: It's a small and intimate cooking school, and we felt grateful that our class included only us.
Good for: Vegetarians or vegans that want learn more about Thai food.
How to get there: The cooking school is well located, in walking distance from the main gate to the old town.

9:00 am: Welcome drink and course presentation
9:10 am: Learn how to make Chili Paste
9:30 am: Cooking class
12:00 pm: Raw food tutorial and break
12:45 pm: Traditional Thai dancing & enjoy some dessert
1:00 pm: End of course

Afternoon class:

2:00 pm: Welcome drink and course presentation
2:10 pm: Cold recipes preparations and discussion of Thai herbs & spices
2:30 pm: Cooking class
3:30 pm: Break & group discussion
4:00 pm: Cold food recipies, Traditional Thai dancing & enjoy some dessert
5:00 pm: Closing discussion & review of techniques
6:00 pm: End of course

"Excellent"

The class was really well organised and fun. I learnt a lot and the food was arguably the best Thai food I have eaten even though I say so myself and the ingredients were pre-prepped so hard to make mistake. Highly recommended

Excellent teacher. Another teacher showed us dessert... Not great, his english was barely understandable, and the dessert class was not as well prepared as the first part of the class. Loved cooking the Thai dishes, except dessert

"So Much Fun"

So excited to try my new skills at home! The class was great and so was the teacher. It was fun meeting and spending time with the other participants. The food we cooked tasted wonderful. Thank you!

"Great class with excellent teacher Nim"

We were taught about the core Thai ingredients, and first made up a variety of pastes. We then used these to make Tom Yam soup, peanut sauce, massaman, green and red curries, pad thai and to finish, mango and sticky rice. The course has given us the tips and confidence to apply what we learned when we get back home. Plus Nim taught us some Thai dancing to help work off some of what we had eaten!

Wonderful vegetarian cooking class. We learned so much and the teacher was so helpful! We made a lot of different dishes ( too many to actually eat there ) would highly recommend this class to anyone thinking about doing one in chiang mai!
