Lezioni di Cucina a Cortona

The best part of this was our welcoming host, Giada. The hands on experience to make homemade pasta and tiramisu and the conversation while enjoying our meal together.

If you have taken other cooking classes where it feels like a formal class - rigid and stuff, this is not that. Beautiful home, with a fantastic view, great setup for the class taught by a wonderful couple who truly engage with all of the guests, you cannot ask for more.

Giada was literally a dream. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely welcome in her home and kitchen. She was patient, kind, hilarious, and shared so many helpful cooking tips along the way—not just how to make the recipes, but little things we’ll actually take home and use. What made the experience so special, though, was Giada herself. She shared stories about her family, her traditions, and the meaning behind the food we were making. It never felt like we were simply taking a cooking class; it truly felt like we had been invited into her home and were cooking with family. And the FOOD! Everything was absolutely delicious, the recipes were fantastic, and we had so much fun making it all. This was one of those experiences that becomes a favorite memory of a trip. If you’re considering booking a class with Giada, DO IT. We would take another class with her in a heartbeat… or convince her to come to Iowa to cook for us there. ❤️🇮🇹🍝

This was a truly great experience. Beautiful setting, wonderful family and great food. Bravo!!!

La parte migliore è stata essere invitata a casa di Giada e conoscere la sua famiglia. Era molto organizzata e ospitale. Si è mostrata molto disponibile e ha risposto a tutte le mie domande. Il cibo era delizioso e facile da replicare.

Giada is a fantastic cook and was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Very Hands-On and we learned the skills to go home and make it again. The extra treat of the fried calzone dessert just topped off the day. We would most highly recommend you try this and the location is beautiful

Giada is a fantastic cook and a wonderful person to spend time with. We not only learn how to make the focaccia and pizza, but we learned a lot of other things about Italian cooking and recipes that she shared. One of the best experiences we've had on this trip and when we would do again

We had a wonderful time cooking with Giada. She welcomed us into her home and shared her family’s recipes. The instructions were step-by-step, hands-on, and fun. Would recommend to all.

This was a fantastic cooking class with Chef and his family. It was the highly of our trip and a core memory for my family. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

A wonderful evening learning and preparing a delicious meal and, most of all, enjoying the amazing hospitality. Everyone made us feel like part of the family and we had a truly marvelous experience. Highly recommended.

Chef Dandy and his family were so beautiful and informative in this cooking class. It takes place in their home which makes the experience even more authentic. We truly enjoyed the experience and we felt so at home.

Had a fun evening with “Chef Dandy” Dedalo. He was well prepared, explained why things are done a certain way in a very entertaining manner. We got to meet his Mom, and the class actually took place in his own home, or in his own kitchen, to be precise, which added a lot of “authenticity” to the evening. We had a lot of fun, laughed a lot and needless to say, the meal we created tasted “eccelente”.

We participated in a class of 7 to improve our skills at making ragu, pasta and tiramisu. It was a fantastic way to spend an evening. Lots of homemade wine and olive oil, beautiful home setting and Chef Dandy was a very patient and skilled teacher. A very social evening and it was fun to meet interesting people from different places. I feel a lot more confident tackling homemade pasta and tiramisu in the future. Thanks to Chef Dandy and his mother for a wonderful experience! Highly recommended.

I could write three pages about our positive experience today but I’ll respect your time and simply say that it’s a must stop in your Tuscany/Cortona trip. Claudia, our host, kindly shared her experience and insights to prepare a entire meal. We were fortunate enough to share time w/her husband, her very attentive staff and her world experienced father (a famed Italian chef and cookbook author). Be sure to take the time for a tour of the farm that support the company’s use of pork, milk, wine olive oil. It dates back to the 16th century.

We wanted to plan an “experience vacation” to Italy. Our visit to Fattoria Bistecca was the perfect addition. Ilaria was the perfect host. Her kitchen was very beautiful and inviting. She is a very talented chef, very personable and fun! The meal we prepared was fantastic! It was just the four of us, so it was a very intimate gathering....perfect in every way!
