"Best way to learn how to cook rendang!"
I like going to cooking classes when I travel. Since my husband and I were in KL for a few days, we signed up foŕ this class. I asked the school if I could learn to cook rendang, my favourite dish, and my wish was granted! In the end, we had the beautiful rendang dish that was so delicious with a rich yet delicate flavour of spices after slow gentle cooking .
Ana (the owner) also threw in extra lessons and showed us how to make fritters, nasi lemak and sambal. The class itself was well organIzed, and we were all having fun. Zeera, the instructor was so enthusiastic and a great teacher. There was a market tour prior, and we got to try roti canai with some gravy.
I would definitely recommended taking this class.

I was there on Friday morning. The instructor was lovely. She explained in details on the cooking procedures and helped us around. The cooking venue was clean and tidy. The dishes were yummy. Would love to visit again if I go to KL again for the other menus!

Genuinely enjoyed the day. No experience is necessary everyone is at the same level. The teacher is very knowledgeable, passionate and very accommodating to guests.
You will experience real malaysian cooking with a real malaysian family and home.
Worth mentioning the author has several books and if you have the time are available in book shops in KL.

"Best cooking class ever!"
My boyfriend and I attended cooking lesson with Sara, and it was a truely memorable experience, which made this trip one of the best trip we’ve ever had. Upon arrival, We were greeted with breakfast, and were able to learn about breakfast culture in Malaysia. Than we were shown to the cute little garden were it was well kept and interesting to explore. Sara was very knowledgeable about the plants and was really interesting to learn how each of the herbs are cooked or taken as medicine. Also, since all the herbs are grown organically, she let us have a little taste of the each herb as well. It was really memorable to be able to learn about the herbs with their fresh scent and it’s strong vibrant taste. Once we started cooking the food, she was telling us little tips about the recipe, such as how to substitute some of the ingredients with items which you might have better access to. The whole experience of cooking with Sara was so fun and so much to learn! (Most importantly, the dish made from her recipe is amazingly good!) When we were dining together enjoy our meal cooked, she was giving us many recommendation in KL and was so helpful. The whole experience was like visiting your friends’ place and cooking together. I would love to come back again to KL to cook with Sara again!!!
