This isn’t a traditional, hours-long cooking class. It’s designed to be fun, interactive, and easy, focusing on key elements while learning real Malaysian flavors, with guidance so you can follow along.

It’s perfect if you want to experience the culture through food, share a laugh with friends or family, and even sneak the kids or your partner into the fun without boring them.

— Nasi Lemak – Malaysia’s beloved national dish featuring fragrant coconut rice served with spicy sambal, egg, peanuts, and crispy anchovies.

— Onde-Onde – Sweet pandan rice balls filled with molten gula Melaka and coated in fresh coconut, a soft and gooey traditional Malaysian dessert.

— Homemade Masala Chai – Aromatic spiced Indian tea, rich and warming with a perfect balance of spices.

— Teh Tarik – Malaysia’s classic pulled milk tea, known for its smooth, frothy texture and rich, creamy flavor.

Introduction to Ingredients

Get a quick, easy introduction to key Malaysian ingredients, flavors, and how everything comes together. We’ll also walk through the menu for the session.

Prep & Cook: Nasi Lemak

Start with Malaysia’s national dish. You’ll prepare the key elements step by step— Sambal 

Shape & Make: Onde-Onde
