It can be argued that many visit Italy for the food. With Rome serving as the Italian capital, it is no wonder why so many tourists visit Rome. Rome also happens to be a capital of the art world, and in our cooking classes you will see why. In our classes you will learn how to sculpt pasta in the same city where great sculptors were born and trained. Or learn how to make a pizza the Italian way and never have to order in pizza again. However, not all of our classes are confined in the kitchen! In some of our classes we invite you to explore the Roman countryside and visit a local winery, or visit a local Italian market to pick out your ingredients to cook with.
We had the best time cooking and eating with Claudia and her family and friends. She modified her recipes to suit our dietary needs. Unlike other classes I saw online, she not only taught us to cook the pastas but also the sauces, appetizer and dessert. The best part though was enjoying the meal with her lovely family. Her mother serenaded us and her husband, Bruno, played a short concert on his keyboards. Fantastic day!

"Thank you Francesca!"
We had the most fantastic evening with Francesca! With our expert guiding us, we made spinach and ricotta ravioli, bolognese fettuccine and tiramisu, using a mixture of machine technique and traditional technique. Last but not least, we sat down together with Francesca and the other two students on our course to enjoy it paired with the perfect local wines. Francesca kindly sent us the recipes of what we had made together the following day. This experience was a highlight of our visit to Rome, and we felt so welcome and at home. We came home and bought a pasta roller the same week, and cant wait to experiment. We can only say thank you so much Francesca! Xx

We booked an Italian cooking class at the last minute. We liked the look of this package over others because it seemed to include more in the package than others including more food and wine included. Met with our fab your chef, Francesco who took us on a tour of the markets where we bought or produce for the class - lovely veges and meat. The premises were spacious and modern. with lovely helpers. A communal effort to cool a 4 course meal while sipping on you choice of wine - ours being proseco and red with lunch. Good location near the Pantheon. I would definitely recommend and do it again.

Hands down the best experiance we've had on this trip. You instantly feel like apart of the family. The town is gorgeous. Made me want to move there and make pasta with grandma everyday!

The chef gently taught so that we can follow the steps easily. Even my husband was first time to learn cook, he satisfied with this course :) Higly recommend!

Best time of my 2 weeks in Italy! Claudia, Bruno, Juicy ( ?spelling)and my driver ? Francesco?? were so warm and welcoming. I instantly felt at home and throughly enjoyed my time. Loved the yard with all the wonderful herbs, fruits vegetables. Claudia and Juicy were wonderful teachers and Bruno entertained us with his music and great sense of humor. I didn't want to leave! Can't wait to try the recipes at home! Highly recommended!!

"Cooking with Nonna"
From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Communication was very easy with our host . The class was very informative and great fun . We had two children in our group and they were well catered for . We would highly recommend this class and of course the pasta was truely amazing ! 10 out of 10 .

"Felt like one of the family!"
This was hands down our favorite experience in Italy. Every member of the family was genuinely kind, welcoming, funny and passionate about what they do at their “castel”. The pasta making was challenging but well instructed, and the wine was out of this world. Wonderful presentation, thoughtful additions, and a finale of being serenaded by the chef all made for an unforgettable experience that we will always cherish!
