It can be argued that many visit Italy for the food. With Rome serving as the Italian capital, it is no wonder why so many tourists visit Rome. Rome also happens to be a capital of the art world, and in our cooking classes you will see why. In our classes you will learn how to sculpt pasta in the same city where great sculptors were born and trained. Or learn how to make a pizza the Italian way and never have to order in pizza again. However, not all of our classes are confined in the kitchen! In some of our classes we invite you to explore the Roman countryside and visit a local winery, or visit a local Italian market to pick out your ingredients to cook with.
Best part of my trip!!! Claudia and Bruno made me feel like family. Such an incredible, warm and special experience. Wish I could cook here every week!

"Absolutely best experience we had in Rome"
This was such an amazing experience on so many levels. I learned how to make pasta and got the chef's recipe for out of this world sauce that has only three ingredients! The chef was great with kids. My daughter lacks confidence and the chef kept showing her that she could make pasta. She was so proud in the end. I also love that we were taught by someone that knows cooking inside and out. He explained the chemistry to us. I've been making pasta wrong all these years and now know the right times and temperatures. Really it was worth it for the tips, for the confidence boost to my daughter, and for the authentic Roman experience.

"A great time!"
We had an absolute blast. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and down to earth; it was quite the pleasure spending the day with her. She also translated for the chef during our class. We were all laughing and enjoying each other’s company while making pasta. The other restaurant staff were exceptionally kind as well! The food was delicious. 10/10 would highly recommend!

"A Day That Will Stand Out in a Life Time of Days"
For one day we put aside everything else in world. We learned how to make two kinds of pasta. Had a nice tour of the Minardi Frascati Vineyard. Gained an appreciation for the region. Meet nice people (I suspect that might be luck). Ate a nice family meal and then were lucky enough to hear Alfredo and his neighbor sing and play guitar. The food, wine, views, people and experience could not have been better.

"Fantastic pasta cooking experience"
My family of 4 enjoyed a wonderful cooking class in a Roman restaurant with a great chef. Our guide, Sharon, and our Italian chef were fantastic - they educated and entertained us. We made 2 kinds of past plus tiramisu and then sat down to enjoy our amazing lunch! Overall, an experience that truly exceeded our expectations and has been a highlight of our trip.

"Great class, food and wine!"
Nice break from the crowds and heat of Rome. Loved seeing the vineyard, farmhouse and wine cave. We learned a lot about the art of making pizza dough - made several variations of pizza. Really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend for anyone looking to do something just a short train ride out of the city.

Absolutely appreciated how simple Chef David made learning to cook classic Roman dishes!
Also really enjoyed the conversations and getting to know more of the Italian lifestyle in most family kitchens. Can’t wait to try out the recipes with our family back home in Singapore… and now to hunt for guancale back home!

"Absolute highlight of our trip"
We decided to book the class on a whim and were both absolute beginners. I'm vegan and my partner isn't. Emanuele and his team made us feel welcome and were such great teachers. They gave everyone the exact right amount of time and attention to make sure they got it right. They accommodated me perfectly so I felt included making my no egg pasta. The group is ten people and you make one dough but different shapes. They show the sauces but you don't make them. It was also a lot more fun than I thought, with music and prosecco. In the end they made sure we got home ok and were just so lovely and sound. I'd do it again if I could! Don't book this class if you hate fun.

Claudia is a wonderful cook and teacher. She taught us how to make two kinds of pasta and both were delicious, along with delectable fried treats. We even made a Pavlova cake to celebrate her daughter's birthday.
The whole experience was enjoyable, from the ease of meeting her husband Bruno at the station, to their lovely home amid an olive grove, to the delicious food and great company. I highly recommend this experience with Claudia!

We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and we thoroughly enjoyed our class, we did lots of things in Rome and this was the best. Very kind and informative chefs, yummy food and we have even come home and made pasta again. It is one of the more expensive things we did on our trip but worth every penny and would highly recommend.
