It can be argued that many visit Italy for the food. With Rome serving as the Italian capital, it is no wonder why so many tourists visit Rome. Rome also happens to be a capital of the art world, and in our cooking classes you will see why. In our classes you will learn how to sculpt pasta in the same city where great sculptors were born and trained. Or learn how to make a pizza the Italian way and never have to order in pizza again. However, not all of our classes are confined in the kitchen! In some of our classes we invite you to explore the Roman countryside and visit a local winery, or visit a local Italian market to pick out your ingredients to cook with.
Amazing class. Was interactive, the people were so nice and inviting, and leaning about the ancient winery was superb !! Would love to live in Italy and just go there all the time to grab a glass of wine and relax. Would totally recommend for anybody that has a day in their Rome travels.

"So much fun, and I learned a lot!"
The people who run Minardi Winery in Frascati truly do am exceptional job. The ticket price is worth it. They delivered on a quality cooking lesson, a lovely tour of their vineyard, LOTS of food and antipasti, the wine pours were generous, and the cost of purchasing their wine and olive was very reasonable. I just adored the experience, they’re such entertainers. The pace of the whole experience was perfect the whole time, not standing around idly. They kept things moving and kept our attention with stories and lots of music and singing. Please go if you have the chance!

"Best part of our Rome Trip"

The tour was as described, we met Claudio at the taxi stand and had a small group tour (13 people) of the town of Frascati. Claudio was a knowledgeable and spirited tour guide with lots of interesting bits of information! We stopped in Frascati for the first wine tasting, then made our way to the vineyard for a beautiful and authentic taste of Italian wine. The small group setting made it a very intimate compared to other tours we had experienced. The wine and food were awesome, and the hosts were very helpful.
Definitely recommend doing this as part of your trip, as it was the favorite part of ours!

"Best part of our Rome Trip"
Booking with Cookly was easy and quick. I got a confirmation email almost instantly.
The experience was awesome! Everything was as described, from trains leaving, to quality of wine. We met Claudio at the taxi stand and started a spirited tour of Frascati with a small tour group (13 people).
We stopped in the city for our first wine tasting, then made our way to the vineyard and experienced and authentic vineyard with lots of history and character. The wine was amazing and we got proper glasses and not small samples.
Claudio was a knowledgeable and spirited tour guide with lots of information about the town and vineyard.
Everything and everyone was authentic, the wine was delicious, and the views we're breath taking! Definitely the best part of our trip and will be going back if we come back to Rome!

My girlfriend and I did this pasta making class our last day in Rome, and along with 10 others we had an absolute blast. We learned a lot, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was even better.
The lesson was fun, informative, and collaborative. Each team of 2 got to make roughly their portion size of pasta (it was all collectively cooked and shared), and their own personal tiramisù.
The best way I can put it is that the class we were in had an individual there who had taken similar courses at the same school two times previously, and he had every intent to take another the next time he visited Rome. It's truly an experience worth having again and again.

"Best cooking class I have ever taken!"
Let me start off by saying that my husband is the chef in our house. He loves to taking cooking classes, and I usually go along mainly to eat the food at the end. Usually I sit and watch, but don't expect to cook anything amazing because I might be considered one of America's worst cooks. But let me tell you, Emanuele Faini is one of the best cooking instructors I have ever met! He made this class so much fun, and made the cooking process so easy that even I made something delicious...and that is saying a lot. I actually got a little emotional when I tasted my food because I had never made anything taste so good! If you are looking for something to do in Rome outside of the normal sight seeing, this is a great experience!

"Memorable Day in Frascati"
The pasta-making class was definitely a highlight of my week-long trip in Italy. Everyone was extremely friendly and you could tell the family loves what they do. From the pasta-making to the wine-tasting to the Italian-singing serenading Chef Luigi, this day is a must if you're looking to get out of Rome to explore the country-side. "Amazing and detailed experience"

Francesca is a warm, welcoming person who made sure we had fun while learning the essentials of pasta making.
She was great with my teenagers and engaged us all with her sense of humour.
We enjoyed getting to know our classmates; my family of 4 was teamed up with 3 other people. I found that 7 people in the class worked well, with everyone getting the chance to participate.
I feel ready to start the great pasta-making experiment at home, and I learned some simple tips with sauces that I know I’ll put into play immediately. "AMAZING time at InRome Cooking!"
My mother and I participated in the InRome evening cooking class. We made two pastas and a tiramisu. The food was excellent, there was bottomless champagne and wine and the teacher (Fillipo) was INCREDIBLE. He was so fun and knowledgeable. The class was in English and his English was excellent. The location was very central (Piazza Navona) and the kitchen was beautiful and the dining room where we ate what we made was lovely as well. It was the highlight of our trip. It is a great way to spend an afternoon. We highly recommend InRome cooking.

Francesca made authentic Italian cooking easy. We were able to make a 4 course meal. Very personal and warm atmosphere in Francesca’s home. Keep in mind when selecting the menu that Italian cuisine is very seasonal. We made artichokes Roman style as we were in the season in March. Such a memorable experience. He was knowledgeable, attentive, supportive, encouraging and generous. We were all given our own workbench which was great, meaning that we all got to make our own pasta which we eventually shared. This is in comparison to other classes we've taken where one joint meal is made and participants share roles in its creation. Once you hand role your pasta, you have a meal with the small group and it was really nice hearing about why everyone was in Rome, along with hearing the tips and tricks of not only Italian pasta making by our amazing chef, but also his take on Rome itself. The special 'Alfredos cheese pasta' is made from very very thin pasta and mixed with cheeses in front of you while you watch. Our small class size meant that we got quality time with Emanuele and learned some tips of the trade.
