Education and yummy

Really enjoyed this class, which started with a great market tour with David followed by a cooking class with Sadiyah. We learned a lot about the critical local ingredients and how they were used, Malay culture, and tips and tricks for making Curry Laksa and other dishes.

a really nice day with nice people and delicious food

In every "new" country we travel to, we do a cooking course. Firstly, to get to know the cuisine and also to have a nice day with other people, who mostly come from different countries. Here we were given a very friendly welcome at the meeting point for a visit to the market and were able to get to know the different fruits, vegetables and spices on offer. We were also allowed to go to the market stall and watch exactly how coconut milk and coconut meat are processed - great :-) Vivian, our cooking teacher, was already waiting for us at the school with her team. After a small breakfast that had already been prepared, we learned about various exciting dishes and cooked ourselves, each at their own cooking station and were active the whole time. The other participants were also very communicative and nice - it was really fun and we had a very nice day. Many thanks and greetings from Hamburg, Katja and Bernd.

More than cooking class!

Ms Saadiah explained us each ingredients and dishes of histories, nutrition and why she cooks certain ways which were really fascinating to us. It was the highlight of our trip and we will take the class again. Thank you Ms Saadiah!

Excellent Hands On Class

Well prepared, well run class! Takes place in an outdoor, huge covered patio area, with natural breeze for cooling and out of the sun! We used traditional brass wok and excellent equiptment. Could adjust the spicy to fit my taste. The chef explained everything really well, and is very talented. She helped us get transport back to hotel at end of class too. Was glad to take this class on the last day of our vacation, before heading to the airport for the evening flight back to Europe!

Participants are requested to gather at TTDI Wet Market 15 minutes before the tour begins, specifically at 8:15 AM. Our representative will be waiting at the big stairs near the main entrance facing Jalan Wan Kadir.

In case you encounter any difficulty locating the meeting point, feel free to contact us at the provided number. It's crucial to note that the tour will kick off promptly at 8:30 AM, irrespective of whether all participants have arrived.

If, for any reason, you can't make it by 8:25 AM the latest, you're welcome to head directly to the school. Join the group there at 9:45 AM, ensuring a smooth transition to the subsequent session. Your punctuality is appreciated for an enjoyable and well-coordinated experience.
