Interactive Vietnamese Cooking Class with Cyclo Tour and Market Tour

Getting to know the food is also a great way of learning about the country. Vietnamese food is healthy, simple to cook, delicious, and forms a large part of the culture. This half day tour gives you a hands-on lesson on how to shop for fresh ingredients and cook authentic Vietnamese food. Orchid Cooking classes are offered every day in the morning and afternoon. 

Orchid Cooking classes are an interactive and fun way to learn new cooking skills and experience the tastes and textures of Vietnamese cuisine. You will prepare dishes under the guidance of experienced chefs at your own workstation and each workshop will conclude with tasting the food you have prepared, accompanied by local beer or wine, in our comfortable dining area. All guests will receive detailed recipe cards and a certificate to take home at the end of the class.

• Bún Chả ( Char - grilled Pork with fresh vermicelli & vegetable
• Nộm hoa chuối gà ( Banana flower salad with chicken ) (V)

Morning:

• 8:30 am: Pickup service at your hotel by taxi or motorbike.
• 9:00 am: Chef will give a brief introduction about the program.
• 9:10 am: Take a Cyclo Tour
• 9:30 am: Local market tour & Street food tasting. Walking through the local market exploring our Culture and characteristic of Vietnamese market. Moreover, some of our local seasonings and food ingredients would be explained by our chef during the market tour.
• 10:40 am: Cooking class begins. The Chef will teach you how to prepare and make Vietnamese food with detailed instruction & recipes.
• 12:30 pm: Time to enjoy your own food. Beverages are available on your request during lunch. 

Afternoon:

• 3:00 pm: Pickup service at your hotel by taxi or motorbike.
• 3:30 pm: Chef will give a brief introduction about the program.
• 3:40 pm: Take a Cyclo Tour
• 4:00 pm: Local market tour & Street food tasting. Walking through the local market exploring our Culture and characteristic of Vietnamese market. Moreover, some of our local seasonings and food ingredients would be explained by our chef during the market tour.
• 5:10 pm: Cooking class begins. The Chef will teach you how to prepare and make Vietnamese food with detailed instruction & recipes.
• 6:30 pm: Time to enjoy your own food. Beverages are available on your request during lunch.
