Superb

Great experience! Host was charming and an excellent teacher. Food was amazing. We made tortellini, bow ties, tagliatelle, and ragu. Host with a short bus ride outside some trampoline so we got to see another part of the city too. One of our best travel experiences. Would highly recommend.

Superb!!

Host was charming and an excellent instructor (and great English speaker)! Food was superb. We learned how to make tortellini, tagliatelle, “bow ties “and ragu. Host’s home was a short bus ride outside Bologna central, so it allowed us to experience another part of the city, too. One of the great travel experiences we have had.

What a wonderful 3 hours learning to make the dough then 3 shapes and finishing with tasting our work. It was fun to be in their home and she was a wealth of information about pasta as well as Bologna. It's the best cooking class we've been on.

Pasta making in Bologna with Irena!

We had a great time with Irena, an amazing host! We share many recipes together. She welcomed us in her home with her husband Marco who served us his fresh homemade bread. Irena is a great teacher, she detailed all the steps with her great English. If you only follow her hands, you won't get it. You need to listen to her advices and she will guide you in all the steps. All the details count: the temperature of the ingredients, the quantities, the techniques, the products, etc. You will be amazed by her experience and her techniques. We enjoyed our time with Irena and her family. Her teaching will remain with us as a precious memory of Italy! Grazie ancora per aver condiviso la tua passione per la cucina, il tuo amore per la tua famiglia e i tuoi segreti della pasta fatta in casa! Bologna è la città gastronomica d'Italia!
