Private Cooking at the Farmhouse: Traditional Neapolitan Menu in Benevento

What to Expect

Every session at the farmhouse is kicked off with a good glass of Falanghina or Aglianico wine and a previously prepared appetizer.

From there, you'll go into the organic vegetable garden and learn about the seasonal ingredients, how to grow them with respect to nature, and the benefits they have for the body. You'll handpick the fresh ingredients needed for the preparation of the traditional menu and return to the house.

There, the class will be introduced to Neapolitan cuisine and the secrets of its traditional dishes. After the thorough introduction, you'll start with the creation of various delicious sauces for your 4-course traditional Neapolitan menu. For all the dishes, you'll use as many fresh ingredients as possible.

You'll be immersed in an authentic family-like atmosphere recalling memories of a traditional Italian family while sharing quality time. At the end of the cooking session, you'll enjoy the whole menu with a great glass (or more) of locally-produced wine.

You'll leave the house with a full belly and a special gift from us, so you'll bring a piece of our passion with you.

Menu

Food:

• Freselline with fresh toppings (twice-baked bread)
• Manfredi with homemade tomatoes sauce and ricotta or baked pasta Neapolitan style
• Parmigiana di Melenzane (Italian oven dish with eggplant)
• Chiacchiere (Italian fried pastries)

• Included: surprise from the house

Schedule

Morning session:

• 10:00 am: Arrival at school
• 10:10 am: Welcome drink and finger food
• 10:15 am: Picking ingredients from the garden and henhouse
• 10:45 am: Start cooking class
• 1:00 pm: Enjoy creation
• 1:30 pm End of class

Afternoon session (available only on Saturdays):

• 4:00 pm: Arrival at school
• 4:10 pm: Welcome drink and finger food
• 4:15 pm: Picking ingredients from the garden and henhouse
• 4:45 am: Start cooking class
• 6:00 pm: Enjoy creation
• 6:30 pm End of class
