This is the experience you can't miss in Taipei!

At Jin’s Table, we strive to create an environment where our guests can feel at home, thus our classes are held in a cozy and comfortable kitchen. We’re one of the few studios that incorporate Hakka culture into our classes.

As a Hakka herself, Jin is happy to share anything about her culture, traditional food, and drinks, or even the best places to shop locally. Jin’s Table is meant to be an intimate and informative experience, so drop by, relax, and enjoy a friendly couple of hours.

Schedule

Morning Class:

10:00 am: Meet at Jin's Table
10:10 am: Welcome drink and start the cooking session, every participant will have their own set of kitchenware.
12:30 pm: Finish all the cooking and enjoy the meal, meanwhile, everyone can make some special souvenir and bring it home.
1:00 pm: End of the class

Afternoon Class:

3:00 pm: Meet at Jin's Table
3:10 pm: Welcome drink and start the cooking session, every participant will have their own set of kitchenware.
5:30 pm: Finish all the cooking and enjoy the meal, meanwhile, everyone can make some special souvenir and bring it home.
6:00 pm: End of the class

"Excellent class, great experience"

Jin is a great instructor and the food that we made was delicious. I learned a lot about both cooking Taiwanese food and about Taiwanese culture. The flexibility in the recipes allowed me made my dishes vegetarian in the case of the pineapple dessert and vegan in the case of the rice noodles. Jin's location is very easy to walk to from a train station in Taipei making it easy to reach for those of us who don't know the area well. Highly recommended for all.

Jin is a pro! Proud of her culture and happy to open up about its food, history, traditions and her own journey and relationship with that. She took care to adapt to a plant based menu as I had requested with no problems and during the class is very attentive to safety and hygiene. She was supportive, patient and ensured we had ample time to craft the hakka dishes to the best of our ability (which isn't saying much). Meeting Point

Please get off at Shilin MRT Station exit 1, turn left and walk straight on Zhongzheng Rd. about 7 min, then turn left in the ally when you see KFC. Keep walking along the ally about 1 min and you will find Jin's Table.
