I have worked for 10 years as local guide, and have traveled in many places, especially Vietnam. My biggest dream is to travel all over the world and be able to share my great knowledge of Vietnam. My main objective is to include what travelers want most, which is experiencing authentic Vietnamese life and exploring local activities.

You will have dinner at my home, Hanoi Old Quarter Homestay. We invite guests daily, and you can join us.

When you come and eat dinner with us, you'll enjoy fresh, healthy, and authentic Vietnamese foods. You'll also be able to explore more about Vietnamese history, lifestyle, economy, social issues, and fun—everything you want to know.

Menu 1:

• Stir – fried cabbage 
• Fried tofu with tomatoes sauce 
• Stewed pork with caramel
• Vietnamese sausage 
• Seasonal fruits 

Menu 2:

• Stir fried chicken with lemongrass and chilli 
• Sweet and sour pork ribs 
• Boiled vegetables 
• Fried peanuts 
• Seasonal fruits 

Menu 3:

• Grill pork meatloaf (cha la lot) 
• Fried pork in camy flour 
• Stir - fried green pumpkin with garlic 
• Papaya and kohlrabi salad 
• Seasonal fruits 

Menu 4:

• Boiled pork
• Braised fish with caramel 
• Stir – fried glory morning with garlic 
• Fried tofu 
• Seasonal fruits 

Menu 5:

• Boiled cabbage 
• Stir – fried cauliflower with beef 
• Stir – fried potatoes 
• Pan – fried belly pork 
• Seasonal fruits 

Menu 6:

• Bun Cha ( grilled pork with noodles )
• Seasonal fruits

Cronograma

We have three activities involve to dinner at noon time, you can join one, two or all of them as below:

3:00 pm: Picking up ingredients

• Firstly, you are going to meet us at home-stay and list all ingredients we will buy at local market nearby home-stay just 10 minutes walking. Our chef will give you tips of how to choose fresh ingredients and bargain. On the way, you will have chance to see all ingredients they sell are in fresh condition.

4:00 pm: Cooking

• In this part, we will go to our home-stay, you can choose make whole or a part of dishes as: processing vegetables, washing fruits …
• We will teach you how to cook Vietnamese food. Moreover, we will share with you valuable information and you may know some helpful cooking tips in Vietnamese cultural cuisine.

6:30 pm: Dinner Time

• At this time, almost our guests stay in our home-stay and some other guests stay outside will be have dinner together. So everyone can tries the dishes that you have made. Overall, you can enjoy Authentic Vietnamese foods, make friends and learn the culture from friends around the world.
