New Delhi Cooking Classes

We had a fantastic experience during the cooking class as a family - definitely a highlight of our trip to India. They were warm and welcoming and provided insights into the medicinal properties and meaning of different foods. The meal was absolutely delicious and it was lovely to sit down and enjoy the meal together.

Thank you so much to Cookly for a great hands on cooking experience. It was lovely to be shown how to prepare and combine ingredients to produce some authentic Indian cuisine. Thank you Tastesutra for the excellent class. We were the only participants due to COVID-19, but the class went ahead and we learned a huge amount through practical demonstrations and explanations. The kitchen is spacious and professional, it's the perfect space for teaching. We finished the class by eating our cooking, and it's a testament to the quality of teaching that the food was delicious. Our teacher Sunal was very friendly and accommodating. First of all, let’s begin with the fact that the class is not in Delhi center. We went by metro and it was very easy. Farheen husband even pick us up at the metro station. It’s been a wonderful experience to have the chance to learn how to cook properly Indian food with Farheen in her own kitchen. She rapidly put you at ease and give you a lot of hints so that you can cook the dishes you learned when you get back home. She cooks every dish from fresh ingredients. Farheen have a lot of experience with Indian cuisine and she is a great teacher. It has been one of the highlight of our Indian trip, propably the best one! It’s a very nice way to live a unique experience and learn more about Indian culture with amazing people. You can’t say we didn’t warn you, if you don’t go you are missing a great experience!!!

Farheen is so knowledgeable and has such a deep passion for cooking and Indian cuisine. A truly must experience for those wanting an authentic Indian cooking class experience

Had a great time cooking with Subhvi. She is a great host and tailored the meal to my preference. Whether you're looking for a cooking lesson, a cultural experience or a good meal, Delhi cooking classes delivers. Easily the best meal I had in India.

I highly recommend this option! She is amazing, we did not want to leave. We made a friend in Delhi for life! Really tasty food, great convo and very hospitable! Plus her home was clean and tidy!

It was a really great afternoon and we really got a feel for the knowledge behind the recipes. And both the teacher and her husband were charming and interesting people.

Surbhi was a great host picking us up from the metro to guide us to her cosy apartment. She explained all cooking steps very well and during cooking and eating shared information on her background and her family and Indian culture in general. We took a few breaks to eat and drink what we had prepared which made the afternoon a very relaxed experience. At the end we were even able to pick up a few critical ingredients to take home at several neighborhood shops. Needless to say that the food was delicious, of course!
