We had an interesting and very personal market tour followed by a funny and delicious cooking. We learned a lot about ingredients and preparation. Son handled everything with ease and she is a lovely person
The market introduces a variety of food ingredients. I had a cooking class with a bright smile and a good mood. The finished food was very delicious.
We had the best night with Son- she was a joy to be around plus made the experience amazing. Very authentic and real.
Taking a cooking class in Dalat through Cookly was an unforgettable experience! The instructor was incredibly kind and patient, making the entire process both enjoyable and easy to follow. The day started with a fascinating visit to the morning market, where we explored a variety of fresh ingredients. The local vendors were welcoming, and I even got to sample some unique flavors. Our guide explained each ingredient in detail, making the market tour a great introduction to Vietnamese cuisine. Back at the cooking class, we prepared three dishes of our choice in a beautiful outdoor garden. The recipes were surprisingly simple yet produced stunningly delicious and visually appealing dishes. It was such a fun and relaxing experience, and I loved every moment of it! I would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Dalat. Whether you're a food lover or just looking for a unique cultural experience, this is a perfect way to immerse yourself in Vietnam’s rich culinary traditions.
Central market tour and home cooking class is wonderful experience!
I spent a fun morning with Son, going to the market and then returning to the garden to cook three great Vietnamese dishes. It was nice that I could choose what we cooked and the time was very relaxed even though it was just me in the class. Son is a lovely lady and I highly recommend her cooking class.
Sun came with us to the market and bought all the fresh ingredients for our dishes. Afterwards, we went to an outdoor kitchen and cooked everything; it was absolutely delicious, and everything was explained in detail. We had to wait a while for the recipes and ask several times, which was a bit annoying.
Sun is very active and passionate person. She introduced traditional market and buy ingredients together. It was pretty informative time for us to learn all different vegetables, herbs, and fruits. Her cooking studio is very open and beautiful place. I really enjoy the class and it was pretty unique time for us in Dalat. If you like to learn Vietnamese food and something new experience, I recommand this cooking class.
Thanks for a lovely day, we learned a lot about the markets in Dalat and the culture around food in Vietnam. I really recommend this activity if you have a day to spare, do not rush as it’s nice to take your time and learn.
I had such a wonderful time, 1:1 learning about the culture of Vietnam/Da Lat and then getting to cook the most delicious 3 meals! I would highly recommend this class to anyone travelling in the area.
I like enjoying cooking classes when I travel. This class was the best of my cooking class experiences. I realized why this class is called 'Life in Laugh'. I wanna say thank you to my teacher, Son. I called her 'mother-in-law' during the class. Xin Cam On! I uploaded my vlog on my YouTube channel. I strongly recommend it. https://youtu.be/_4d9DPYBTeQ?feature=shared
I truly enjoyed whole things about this cooking class. From shopping at the local market to being introduced to local cuisine with the host’s original recipe, everything was impeccable. Also, the place for cooking was a really cute patio with lots of mint plants around and we actually grabbed those and put them into our dishes right away. Our host Son was a great tour guide as well as a good cook. What we had made was super delicious and we also had a great conversation during dinner. I highly recommend this if you really want to experience the essence of Dalat traveling!
Thanks Son!
The local market tour was really interesting. We cooked Vietnamese food with fresh ingredients. Obviously, it was DELICIOUS!!! Also, Chef Son was extremely friendly and helpful. Such an unusual experience. I strongly recommend this program.
