Great fun for all the whānau. Money well spent and great value. We all learnt lots and enjoyed all the kai. Thank you!!
We (me and my two sons - 14 and 11) had a great time learning about the ingredients, cooking and then eating! Would highly recommend.
Every thing
We had a small tour of local market this was very informative, the cooking was fun and the food was fantastic
All was wonderful as Diane has said thank you
The class was so informative learn a lot The ingredients were so fresh and the meal was delicious
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an amazing experience from start to finish! We were picked up directly from our accommodation, which made everything so easy. On the way to the cooking school, our driver gave us a fantastic sightseeing tour and shared lots of interesting information about Bali, its culture, local life and traditions. It felt like we were getting two experiences in one. The cooking class itself was outstanding. We learned how to prepare a variety of authentic Balinese dishes using fresh local ingredients and traditional techniques. The instructors were friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun and easy to follow, even for beginners. The best part was getting to enjoy all the delicious food we cooked ourselves, and we also took home recipes and tips so we can recreate the dishes when we get back home. If you're looking for a genuine cultural experience, great food, and wonderful hospitality, we highly recommend this cooking class. It was one of the highlights of our Bali trip and an experience we'll remember for a long time. Thank you for such a fantastic day! 🌟🍛🇮🇩
Maria met us at our hotel and we went to the local market together first where she showed us various foods and explained what dishes they are used in. We then walked to her home nearby and we helped her to make four beautiful dishes and she explained the process in detail and she taught us the importance of having the right balance of spices and ingredients for each particular dish, also how each sauce can be used with any meat, fish or vegetables depending on preference. We sat together and ate from the dishes we had prepared afterwards. It was a delightful intimate experience with a beautiful older lady full of knowledge and skill.
Do it, it's great fun and you get to have a feast on what you cooked
Chef was great
Sonni was an amazing teacher/chef
From the communication before arrival to the warm greeting on the day ,this few hours was probably the best we spent in Bali. Not only did we learn something new we made new connections. Chef and his staff were amazing ! Would recommend doing
We had a day to fill with some activities and booked the class the day before. What an incredible experience! The chefs were knowledgeable and good at teaching, and the staff made everything easy. We hardly noticed 3.5 hours go by and the food was great when we ate. I would highly recommend this place.
Had such a great experience even as a solo participant in the group of 11. I had such a wonderful experience interacting with everyone and Chef Bagus and his team ensured you were all included and had a fantastic time.
Cooking class gave great insights into the Indonesian culture. Maria was both informative and polite. Indonesian cooking is about balance and subtlety. We will certainly use this knowledge in our daily life.
