"Rice is Life" and rice papermaking is an important part of our family history. Our great-grandparents taught it to our parents who professionalized it. And our parents taught it to us. Now is the time to give the tradition to our kids and also to you. We love rice in all varieties. For a lot of our favorite recipes, we have to grind the rice before.

After we make the rice dough, we can steam it on rice paper. We can use this for our fresh spring rolls or make different kinds of rice noodles or crispy rice paper out of it. In our rice paper class, you will learn all about that. From "the farm to the fork" will be a great experience, when you prepare the rice paper for your own spring rolls and soup.

Tra Que is a saved heritage by the Government and a unique fertile Island in the river.

• Staff pick you up at your hotel.
• Cycle through the lovely rice fields and admire the farm of cows, ducks with buffaloes.
• Upon arrival, have your welcome drink and explore an over 300-year-old vegetable village that grows more than 30 types of herbs using manual methods.
• Start of rice paper and noodle making: Follow the local chef to learn all the steps in the process of making your rice paper. From the grinding of the rice to the flavor explosion in your mouth, you will learn to make different Types. Such as - Crisp rice paper with black and white Sesame. - Crispy BBQ rice paper grilled on charcoal. You will also learn how to cut the rice paper to make your own Rice Noodles for your authentic Vietnamese Soup.
• You will learn to prepare authentic Vietnamese dishes by yourself such as - the Tam Huu (Three Friends) spring roll, which is unique to our village, and the famous local pancake. We will serve even more for your lunch like Papaya salad and a main dish fish in a clay pot with steamed rice in banana leaves. Finally, there is a fresh fruit dessert. 
• We will return you to the hotel after a day full of experiences.
