Central Market Tour with 4 Course Lunch

The market tour and cooking lesson is dedicated to Wednesdays and Fridays with a focus on the culture of Tuscan food. This includes the tasting of local and seasonal products with targeted spending on organic and PGI products which will be useful for the performance and processing of the seasonal menu.

At the end of the class you will taste everything you made, wine and water included.

Menú

• The Market Tour is held on Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 10.00 with a duration of about 4-5 hours. Meeting Point at 9.50 at the statue in front of the church of San Lorenzo near to the corner of via de' Ginori. 
• After doing the grocery shopping at the Central Market, we go to the school and cook the purchased products. It is a four-course lunch including appetizer, first-course hand-made pasta with sauces, the second course of meat and vegetables and a dessert, including water and wine. The recipes will be given at the end of the class. 
• Vegetarian option available. 
• 1 bottle of wine every 5 person.
• Minimum of participants 2 person.

Please note that we have a late arrival policy: If you arrive later than 15 minutes without telling us it will be considered as now show and you can't partecipate anymore at the class.

Programa

• 9:50 am: Meeting at the statue in front of the San Lorenzo church near to the corner of via de' Ginori and start walking to arrive at the market in the middle of the old center of Florence for 5 min.
• The market tour and cooking lesson has the focus on the culture of Tuscan food. This includes the tasting of local and seasonal products which will be useful for the performance and processing of the seasonal tasting. We put all our passion in choosing the best Italian products, fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish. We make sure to touch and smell the ingredients, as well as make everyone else appreciate the scents and aromas of every ingredient.
  At the end of the class you will taste everything you made, wine and water included.
  The class starts in the morning, you will meet Chef Francesco at the meeting point at the statue in front of the San Lorenzo church, then we go together with the others of the group to the Central market where you do the grocery shopping and go then back to the school where you prepare a typical Tuscan 4 Course meal in an hands on cooking lesson!
  At the conclusion of the class we provide the recipes so once you are back home you can cook the menù we have created. You will make a very special Tuscan cooking experience!
