You can learn and experience:
- How to make tofu from scratch with the help of a macrobio-vegan teacher
- How to make Japanese traditional dishes using Tofu.
- Very traditional Japanese vegan lunch including steamed brown rice cooked with the clay pot, some vegetable dishes, tofu dishes and dessert.
- A talk about soy beans and tofu with a hand out.
- To stay in the normal Japanese home with tatami mat room
And if time allows:
- A talk about veganism and macrobiotics
- The atmosphere is very relaxed, peaceful and intimate as the venue is located in the countryside, about 1.5 ~ 2 hours away from central Tokyo and the number of the guests are small.

The traditional Macrobio-vegan lunch will be served first before starting cooking session.
You can learn how to make tofu from scratch.
You will also learn much about soybeans and tofu such as how to select the suitable soybeans for tofu making,nutritious value of tofu, how to select the good quality tofu when you shop in the grocery stores.

- 10:30 am: Pickup at the Bushu Nagase station
- 11:00 am: Lecture on soybeans and Tofu, and procedure of Tofu making
- 12:00 pm: Lunch
- 13:30 pm Cooking session
- 4:00 pm: Sending to Bushu Nagase station

Fantastic day, highly recommended
Kurina is such a lovely person to talk with and a very knowledgeable tutor. I learned so much more through our conversations than the actual tofu making. This was hands on, our tofu was very tasty and I feel confident to try making this at home now.
Lunch was delicious and beautifully presented. This class was a highlight of my trip!

Wonderful Experience!
This was one of the most wonderful cooking classes I have ever taken. My partner and I loved chatting with Nana and learning about the process of making tofu and what makes different types of tofu special. Ontop of that the meal she made us was fantastic. Would recommend to everyone, vegetarian, vegan, or even no dietary restrictions

I learned a lot!
If you want to try something new, this class is something you should consider. Kurina introduced us to macrobio-veganism. From what I've learned, I will just create my own tofu, instead of buying one from the market. Highly recommended.

If you're after an experience in Tokyo without crowds and you love food then this is for you. Kurina is living the life most of us would like to. She provides a unique opportunity to see how the locals live in a more rural part of Japan yet accessable from Tokyo. Kurina is knowledgeable in her field and shares more than just how to cook tofu. Best of all you get to eat and talk with kurina and share stories. Thank you kurina!!☺
