Authentic Mexican Cooking in Playa del Carmen: Three Course Meal

A one day "hands-on" cooking course, where students learn to prepare a Mexican 3 course meal in a chic and cozy atmosphere. Classes are held in a fully equipped and professional kitchen created for cooking courses in the home of the chef. 

 Students also learn about our many varieties of fresh and dried peppers and we end the class with a lesson and tasting on tequila and mescal. 

All material is included, drinks, recipes and instructions from the chef. 

Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are available. Any allergies or special food dislikes are also taken in consideration so that all students can fully enjoy their meal.

Menus are changed accordingly to the season, chef's personal choice or students with special food requirements. We have 10 different menus, but these two are some of the favorites:

Examples of 3 course menu meals:

• Timbal of ceviche with layers of avocado, mango and sweet potato, served with an aliño of chipotle 
• Fish and shrimp in achiote, wrapped in banana leaves, served with rice and sniped sauce
• Caramelized and flambeed bananas served warm with a rompope sauce and topped with ice cream and roasted nuts
• Tortilla Soup served with panela cheese, avocado, chipotle, lime, cream and pasilla peppers rings
• Green pipian (or green mole) served with chicken, on a black bean mirror, with rice and fried plantains
• Flan with cream cheese and amaretto drizzled with cajeta and roasted nuts

スケジュール

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 

• 4:00 pm: Introduction to the class
• 9:00 pm: End of the class and enjoy the meal

Tuesday and Friday: 

• 10:00 am: Introduction to the class
• 3:00 pm: Ends of the class and enjoy the meal
