In this class, you will learn how to make three beloved Japanese treats: the famous egg sandwich, Japanese fried chicken, and refreshing cream soda. The egg sandwich, a favorite among visitors to Japan, features mashed boiled eggs mixed with mayonnaise and mustard, nestled between buttered bread. Japanese fried chicken, or karaage, is made by marinating chicken thigh meat in garlic, soy sauce, and sugar, then coating it in egg and potato starch before deep frying it to crispy perfection.

Finally, you'll discover how to make Japan’s nostalgic cream soda, a delightful combination of soda and melon syrup topped with vanilla ice cream, creating fluffy bubbles for a fun and delicious experience.

Egg Sandwich

This is a delicious dish that foreign visitors to Japan liked so much that they bought it at a convenience store in Narita Airport. The unique Japanese way of making this sandwich is to sandwich a mashed boiled egg, mayonnaise, and Mustard between two pieces of buttered bread.

Japanese Fried Chicken

Chicken thigh meat seasoned with garlic, soy sauce and sugar, dipped in egg and potato starch and deep fried. It goes great with beer. We will show you how to make it flavorful and tender.

Cream Soda

A delicious drink originated in Japan, served in retro coffee shops.

A mixture of soda and melon syrup is topped with vanilla ice cream. Press the vanilla ice cream to eat the fluffy bubbles. This is a very popular drink on my coffee shop tours.
