このクラスについて

Hello, I'm not a professional chef, so this experience won't be professional but will be professionally managed.
Everyone will take place in the preparation of the dishes from scratch to the end.
This experience aims to spend some time in an Umbrian country house cooking with me in an informal environment.
After we'll consume the meal together in a joyful conversation with a glass of wine per course.

The day after you will receive the recipe file.

My choice is not to offer any appetizer, drink or play any music because is a cooking class and you have to be concentrated and conserve your empty stomach for the big lunch.

Other things to note:

Kids older than 10 years are welcome.
Big families of all ages kids are welcome for private classes.
I have cats on the property, in case you are allergic!

Francesca Pantano

I started cooking since when I was a kid, learning from my grandma and mom the basics of italian cuisine and then improving reading books, watching cooking programs on TV and internet and organizing dinners at my place with my friends and relatives, but I never thought to make of this passion for food a profession. So five years ago I decided to leave my job as a IT project manager to became a local chef.

We will cook together 2 kinds of pasta and 1 dessert from the list below

Pasta Menu:

Tortelli Ricotta and Spinaches served with butter and parmigiano (veg)
Fettuccine Bolognese
Tonnarelli Carbonara
Tonnarelli Amatriciana
Fettuccine Mushrooms sauce (veg)
Tagliolini Lemon cream sauce (veg)
Tagliolini Arrabbiata sauce (veg)
Gnocchi Tomato sauce and Stracciatella (veg)
Gnocchi Sausage tomato sauce

Dessert Menu:

Tiramisù
Pannacotta with berries
Chocolate lava cake
Pistachio semifreddo (ice cream)
Puff pastry with custard

Great fun and great instruction

Francesca was lovely, she explained important tips about the quality and attributes of the ingredients and the reasons for doing one thing or the other, and she was also not precious about anything, encouraging everyone to enjoy the process. She was also very welcoming and organized. I initially decided on this course because so many courses only offer Tiramisu as a dessert, (which I do not like) and Francesca had a Panna Cotta option - it was great and something I will most definitely make. We made tagliolini al limone and gnocchi. The lunch was fit for a queen. I recommend Francesca to anyone visiting the area.

Great

We had hoped to get a warm welcome at the house of knowledgeable and passionate host, and that’s exactly what we got. Francesca is passionate about food and wine and she doesn’t mind sharing. We had a great time in her house in the Umbrian hills, making simple but delicious food and talking about various things. Francesca, thanks for the course, the lunch and the warm welcome we got at your place 🙏 If we get the chance, we’ll stop by in a few years to see how that new garden is coming along. (And it was nice talking about software and the industry as well, not what I’d expected beforehand, but nice nevertheless 😅)

A MUST-DO!!!

Our class with Francesca was probably our favorite part of our trip to Rome! She is a great teacher and she shares lots of knowledge about Rome and its food culture with you throughout the class. Our four hours together felt like they flew by - but the class didn't feel rushed at all. We made three different kinds of pasta and then sat around a table and enjoyed them together. It was WONDERFUL!

Informative and fun class, some of the best pasta I've ever eaten!

Francesca was so warm and friendly, she really made the class special. She made the process fun but also very informative and answered all our questions. I feel like we have lots of great tips to make perfect pasta now! The meal was spectacular, and she was so fun to spend a few hours with. I can't recommend the class enough!

Absolutely wonderful!

My wife and I had such a wonderful time chatting, cooking, learning and eating with Francesca. She is a gracious host and provided a menu for us to learn to cook.
