When we first booked this experience, I had my doubts that a group of chefs and food professionals from the US would enjoy a "cooking class", given their collective experience. Nothing could be further from the truth. Chef Minh and his team, in the incredible oasis of Toi Toi culinary center not only taught us unique technique and secrets of Vietnamese classics, they did so in a way that simply floored each chef. The garden, the outdoor grill, the incredibly appointed teaching kitchen, and the finale of sitting down for a lunch of our collective dishes was an experience that could not have been imagined. We had spent 5 days touring shrimp farms and techniques in Souther Vietnam. Finishing our trip in Hanoi with Chen Minh's afternoon of cooking and camaradrie was a highlight of our time Vietnam.
