In our classes you will learn how to sculpt pasta in the same city where great sculptors were born and trained. Or learn how to make a pizza the Italian way and never have to order in pizza again. However, not all of our classes are confined in the kitchen! In some of our classes we invite you to explore the Roman countryside and visit a local winery, or visit a local Italian market to pick out your ingredients to cook with.

We had the best day on the Minardi vineyard!!!
Perfectly organised from start to finish, with incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts. The pasta class was great fun and very successful all round - with a great touch to have a professional chef to teach us. After a lovely tour of the vineyard we sat down to an absolutely wonderful meal, with plenty of delicious wine from the vineyard, and the pasta which we prepared ourselves.
Thank you so much to everyone who made our day so wonderful, this was certainly the highlight of our trip to Rome, and would recommend the day to anyone.

"A 10 star experience"
This class is all you expect and more. Francesca is welcoming, informative and witty. We had 8 people in the group and she handled the late arrival of two guests who were lost with aplomb.
We made three pastas and three sauces by hand - and I mean by hand (the pesto sauce was a team effort over 40 mins).
When we finished we sat down to eat our efforts and Francesca paired each with a specially chosen wine. She’s also a sommelier.
In the end we stayed till 10:30 laughing and talking like old friends(we were meant to finish at 9).
If you get a chance please do this class.

"Amazing class, excellent teachers, highlight of our trip!"
This was an incredible experience, thanks to Cookly and the Minardi vineyard for a fantastic day! We learned how to make 2 types of pasta and had demos of several others (by a former chef from the Italian Embassy in France, no less!). We then had a tour of the vineyard and ancient cellar. Finally we ate (all) our pasta and drank lots of wine, all whilst being entertained on the piano by a member of the Minardi family with the chef singing! Exceptional wine (we bought 4 bottles), fantastic atmosphere, incredible teaching and a very friendly bunch of people. It was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. Now we are looking forward to going home and making our own pasta!

This was such a brilliant experience from start to finish. We booked this on our honeymoon to Rome and had a brilliant evening including a tour of the local area, olive oil tasting in a special part of the house, delicious bruschetta, wine tasting and making two types of pasta from scratch. This was honestly one of the most incredible culinary experiences we have had. Claudia, her husband Bruno and their family friend Tonino went out of their way to ensure we had an experience we would never forget. My family (aged 16-60) came for a cooking class today, and it was extremely enjoyable. Giusi and Bruno picked us up at the train station and drove us out to the house, where we met Bruno and Claudia’s adorable dogs. We refreshed ourselves with some tea and water, then put on aprons and got started. Claudia patiently taught us to make pasta dough and turn it into ravioli and fettuccine, and also included us in cooking custard, bruschetta, stuffed squash flowers, and eggplant parmigiana - all of which we consumed in a leisurely fashion with glasses of Prosecco under a vine-draped arbor. This was a fantastic way to spend a morning, and we recommend it to all!

This was the best part of our trip! Not only is Francesca a fantastic teacher, but she also gave us tips and secrets to help us perfect our dishes once we got home. The class is very hands-on and everyone was in the kitchen cooking. Her food is incredible and her recipes are authentic Roman dishes she learned from her family.
Francesca is also a certified sommelier and her wine pairings were perfect. Her homemade limoncello after dessert was also divine.
I would come back to Rome just to cook with her again! She is a treasure.

"Amazing Experience - Perfect for Teens!"
We had an amazing cooking class with the Minardi family. The house where the class took place was so historic and built hundreds of years ago above a natural cave which we toured during the visit. The vineyards themselves were beautiful with roaming hills and an amazing terrace view. The cooking class was interactive and informative but most of all it was FUN for my teenage kids. But the best part was interacting with a real Italian family who provided fabulous lunch and an unforgettable experience including a serenade and piano at the end. Fabulous!!!

"Great Experience with a knowledgeable chef!"
I would definitely recommend this class. Emmanuel who taught it was very passionate and knowledgeable about pasta. He is a competent hands on teacher. He took us through the making of the pasta step by step. He taught us how to make pasta in the traditional way without a machine as well as teaching us how to make ravioli and allowing us to make our own fillings with the ingredients given. Following the course we got to taste the fruits of our labour. Whilst the course is 3 hours the time went very quickly and it was a very enjoyable experience. Emmanuel was a great host. He took great pride in his work and his success which having attended one of his classes is much deserved!

"The highlight of my trip"
The winery tour and pasta cooking class was by far one of the highlights of our trip. My boyfriend and I had the best time, we were picked up from the train station from a wonderfully friendly woman who told us about the town and immediately broke the ice. The family run vineyard was so beautiful. The cooking class was super fun and they accommodated to our vegan eating requirements. The wine was also some of the best wine we’ve ever had! "Game changing class"
I love cooking, took many different classes around the world and really enjoyed the content of this one and the passion of the chefs Frederico and Fabrizo who gave them. You can tell they love passing on their knowledge as much as they love the magic of cooking. They help you understand the chemistry behind the cooking steps which is important to be able to create on your own.
This class was also very unique because not only did we learn about traditional italian cuisine, but the chefs gave their recipes a very modern-fusion-molecular touch I really appreciated and can't wait to show off to my friends. It was also wonderful to see them plating our dishes in a very instagrammable way. Pure art!

"Amazing!! A Must if visiting Rome!"
Me and my husband went on this pasta making course a few days ago and it was amazing. Valeria met us at the train station and drove us to the village a short journey away. Valeria spoke very good english and made us feel very welcome. When we arrived we had a little wonder in the lovely village and Valeria told us a little about the history. We arrived at the house in which we was to make pasta and it was beautiful! They have a lovely set up with a big kitchen table and room for everyone. Valeria Aunty was teaching us with the help of Valeria translation. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience! They made us feel like part of the family with lots of wine and fantastic food. "The best thing we did in Europe!!"
We were treated like family throughout the whole “experience”. Train tickets were purchased and sent by email for us. We were greeted by the most lovely members of the family (especially Valeria!!!) at the train platform and taken by car to the most wonderful Medieval Village (think full on G.O.T.!!!). After a quick tour we met the two Nona’s and had the most joyful couple of hours. We made three hand-made pastas (after sampling some wine, bread and oil in the most beautiful setting). Then we sat down to eat and talk. Great for the “master chefs” amongst us as well as the kids. Just a wonderful experience- thank you so much!! These guys have really got this day well planned. The people who run Minardi Winery in Frascati truly do am exceptional job. The ticket price is worth it. They delivered on a quality cooking lesson, a lovely tour of their vineyard, LOTS of food and antipasti, the wine pours were generous, and the cost of purchasing their wine and olive was very reasonable. Claudio was a knowledgeable and spirited tour guide with lots of interesting bits of information! My girlfriend and I did this pasta making class our last day in Rome, and along with 10 others we had an absolute blast. We learned a lot, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was even better.
The lesson was fun, informative, and collaborative. Each team of 2 got to make roughly their portion size of pasta (it was all collectively cooked and shared), and their own personal tiramisù.
The best way I can put it is that the class we were in had an individual there who had taken similar courses at the same school two times previously, and he had every intent to take another the next time he visited Rome. It's truly an experience worth having again and again.

Let me start off by saying that my husband is the chef in our house. He loves to taking cooking classes, and I usually go along mainly to eat the food at the end. Usually I sit and watch, but don't expect to cook anything amazing because I might be considered one of America's worst cooks. But let me tell you, Emanuele Faini is one of the best cooking instructors I have ever met! He made this class so much fun, and made the cooking process so easy that even I made something delicious...and that is saying a lot. I actually got a little emotional when I tasted my food because I had never made anything taste so good! This class was a highlight of my Rome Visit! I learned so much. The instructor was so detailed and taught the class step by step. I feel like I can excel at making Pasta at Home!
The atmosphere was fantastic! I would certainly recommend this class to any and everyone that wants to learn how to make pasta hands on. The meal and wine were delicious!

Such a memorable experience. He was knowledgeable, attentive, supportive, encouraging and generous. We were all given our own workbench which was great, meaning that we all got to make our own pasta which we eventually shared. This is in comparison to other classes we've taken where one joint meal is made and participants share roles in its creation. Once you hand role your pasta, you have a meal with the small group and it was really nice hearing about why everyone was in Rome, along with hearing the tips and tricks of not only Italian pasta making by our amazing chef, but also his take on Rome itself. Thank you so very much!

"Culture and Passion"
The special 'Alfredos cheese pasta' is made from very very thin pasta and mixed with cheeses in front of you while you watch. Well worth the wait to taste this awesome dish in a wonderful old facility full of character - and film-stars from many years gone by. 107 years old and still going very strong. A great place for young (and older) lovers and groups of business people alike. Our group of 13 had no complaints - only praise for this wonderful dining experience, which is very popular with the locals of all ages.

What a way to get to learn how to make authentic Italian Pasta from one of the best in the business. Our small class size meant that we got quality time with Emanuele and learned some tips of the trade. Emanuele's energy and attention to detail were evident in his class but also the kitchen and dining space.
Emanuele introduced us into his life stories and cooking history but also passed down his family recipes. He gave us detail knowledge on how to make Pasta. Whilst the cooking was fun, the conversation and eating of our pasta were AMAZING.

"Satisfying and Insightful"
My love for pasta brought me here at Francesca’s. Overjoyed that I made a great pasta recipe (my favorite Fettuccine al pesto) out from scratch matched with perfect wine. It was fun making my own pasta! A great evening indeed together with my husband.
