Florence Culinary Experience: Expert Pasta Making & Signature Sauces

In this pasta making masterclass, you will learn how to make authentic, fresh Italian pasta with and without eggs, in different shapes and sizes, with our friendly English-speaking chef in Florence, Tuscany. 

You will discover the best fillings and sauces for your pasta dishes and learn the secrets of how to make colored pasta. Your hands-on cooking class in Florence will culminate with a delicious meal of your pasta dishes as well as an appetizer, a dessert, and two wines paired perfectly with your meal. 

This cooking class is fun and creative and will turn you into an expert pasta maker so you can easily replicate the experience and food once you’re back at home. Under the guidance of our chef, you will learn all there is to know about making fresh pasta.

The first step in our class is to select and make use of the best ingredients, with a focus on the right type of flour, when to make pasta with or without eggs, and tips and tricks for each step from your expert pasta-making chef. We will knead, roll, and cut pasta into tagliatelle or taglioni and then experiment with different fillings and colors to make pasta like ravioli, tortellini, and cappelletti. 

No pasta should have to be alone! Your cooking class will continue with sauce preparation where you will learn how to match your pasta shapes with the correct sauce. Together, we’ll create three different delicious sauces for our pastas. 

After enjoying your pasta with the appetizer and wine, you’ll be sent home with the recipes from the class. This is your chance to show your friends and loved ones your pasta-making skills!

• Chick-pea flour torta with roasted tomatoes and eggplant puree
• Filled Ravioli or Tortelli with Seasonal Sauce
• Tagliatelle with seasonal sauce /special Corzetti/ Pici or main course instead of 1 pasta dish
• Panna cotta with seasonal fruits

• 10:00 am - Arrive at school for warm Italian coffee before starting your cooking class
• 12:30 pm - After the cooking class enjoy a glass of sparkling aperitivo in our garden or wine cellar
• 12:45 pm - Seated and served lunch with 2 fine wines 
• 2:00 pm - Conclusion

Evening Class:

• 5:30 pm - Arrive at school for a nice and warm Italian coffee before starting your cooking class
• 8:00 pm - After the cooking class enjoy a glass of sparkling aperitivo in our garden or wine cellar
• 8:15 pm - Seated and served dinner with 2 fine wines
• 9:30 pm - Conclusion
