I loved the market tour to purchase the food we needed to cook our lunch. Visiting the market without a purpose would not have been on my list of things to do so Na made it very interesting for us. We travelled to her village and did a mini vegetable farm tour. Back to her beautiful house beside the river to learn how to cook Vietnamese food. Our guide and host Na was very engaging and made the experience a lot of fun. Plus the food and coffee was delicious. I would highly recommend Na and Eat Hoi An as a tour not to be missed.

We highly recommend this kosher-friendly cooking class in Hoi An with Na! The class is fantastic for kids. ​The class starts at the local market with a tour and vegetable shopping. Afterward, you travel by tuk-tuk or bicycle to her house. We started by making an appetizer, and then went on a tour of the neighborhood. We visited a vegetable garden where the kids actually got to hoe the soil and plant some seedlings! ​Later, we returned to prepare the main courses. You put all the ingredients in together, so you see exactly what goes into your food. The fish (salmon) was wrapped in a banana leaf and aluminum foil. She even let us light the fire ourselves every time. ​She has a completely separate set of cooking and serving utensils specifically for those keeping kosher, and she uses kosher soy sauce. ​ ​Everything was delicious, pleasant, and incredibly authentic. We highly recommend it! מומלץ בחום, במיוחד גם לשומרי הכשרות. 😋

We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Na is such a talented woman. In cooking, designing, storytelling. She knows Hebrew and she mastered all the rules of kosher. Just fascinating woman. We highly recommend it Orly, Yoram, Eli, and Ayala.

This was hands down the best cooking class and experience! Do this while you are in Hoi An, it is well worth every minute.
