Join UChef Kitchen in the heart of Melaka for a 60-minute hands-on cooking experience celebrating the rich culinary heritage of the Peranakan (Baba Nyonya) community. Guided by experienced local chefs, you’ll discover traditional recipes, learn authentic cooking techniques, and uncover the stories and cultural traditions behind each dish.

Work with both prepared and raw ingredients as you create delicious Baba Nyonya treats in a warm and welcoming kitchen. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced home cook, the relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to learn, have fun, and connect with family or friends.

At the end of the class, enjoy the delicious creations you’ve prepared together and take home wonderful memories of Melaka’s vibrant food culture.

NOTE: Each child admission must be accompanied by the purchase of at least one adult admission.

• Cendol – A refreshing Malaysian dessert made with handmade cendol.
• Ondeh Ondeh – Soft glutinous rice balls filled with fragrant palm sugar and coated with grated coconut.
• Choice of Kuih – Choose between Ang Ku Kuih, a soft glutinous rice cake with a sweet filling, or Kuih Ketayap, pandan crepes filled with sweet coconut.

Introduction to Peranakan Cuisine - Meet your local chef and discover the history, traditions, and cultural stories behind authentic Baba Nyonya cuisine.

Hands-On Cooking Class - Learn traditional Peranakan cooking techniques and prepare authentic dishes and desserts from scratch using local ingredients.

• Thursday, Saturday & Monday: 11:30 AM–12:30 PM and 1:30 PM–2:30 PM
• Friday & Sunday: 10:30 AM–11:30 AM and 3:00 PM–4:00 PM

• Check-in closes promptly at the scheduled class start time to avoid interruptions and respect guests who arrive on time.
• Late arrivals may not be permitted to join the class, and no refund will be issued in such cases.
