Even though we were a bit late due to transportation issues, we've been welcomed super nicely and joined into a very friendly atmosphere. The cooking class was extremely interesting and well presented and ended with amazing, really tasty food in our bellies and tons of nice photos on our phones. Can only recommend to take this class, whether you are already into cooking or a complete newbie!
Great class, I learned a lot!
The food we made was delicious
Our class was a great experience. Julie is a wonderful and very experienced guide through Thai cuisine. The setting and presentation of the ingredients are lovely, we didn’t miss going to the market at all. It leaves more time for the actual cooking, so there‘s no rush. Our dishes tasted great, and there was plenty of takeaway to eat the next day. Fully recommended!
Highly recommend Sompong Thai Cooking Class. The staff were awesome and very informative! We cooked 4 dishes in total and all of them were delicious 🤤 a great experience if you are looking for a fun and tasty way to learn more about Thai culture whilst also eating your own Thai dishes
Attended the class with my 2 besties and it we left the class with happy stomachs. It was fun cooking and learning about thai ingredients. We had Goong as our 'teacher', her sense of humour was superb, highly recommend, don't think twice, just book!
I think it is very good that we can go to the local market and learn different ingredients through observation and the teacher told us how different ingredients was used in Thai food and the effect of it. One way to learn more about a place culture is to see their local wet market. This can let you know what people eat, how do they cook and the price of different raw materials.
This is a great value class for beginners, with a good variety of dishes prepared with solid ingredients and some storytelling flair. The downsides are that the equipment is not great - particularly knives and woks. Again, if you don't sharpen your knives or worry about how to cook in different pans, none of this will matter to you.
Good
Amazing experience! I tried another cooking class but this one is number one! I would definitely come back here next time
