Ramen and gyoza are now among the most popular Japanese dishes worldwide!

In this lesson, we’ll make miso ramen loaded with vegetables. Miso, a key Japanese seasoning, comes in many varieties, and I'll teach you a recommended blend and the steps for creating a flavorful ramen broth.

Gyoza, with its delicious filling wrapped in wheat dough, can be cooked in different ways—pan-fried, boiled, or steamed. In this lesson, we’ll focus on pan-fried gyoza. You’ll learn how to prepare the filling, wrap the gyoza, and cook it to a perfect crisp.

I’ll share tips and techniques to make these dishes easy to recreate at home whenever you’re craving them. My lessons are hands-on, so you’ll gain plenty of practical experience. I'll also suggest ingredient substitutes that work well outside Japan, drawing from my own experience cooking abroad.

After cooking, it’s time to taste your creations! While we enjoy the meal, let’s chat about Nagoya, Japan’s tourist spots, your home country, and more!
