Let yourself unwind from the stresses of city life by immersing yourself in our tranquil organic farm and enjoy cooking course in Thai-style pavilions. Just 20 minutes away from the city center, Grandma’s Home Cooking School is located in a small charming Saraphi District village.

Start your morning by visiting the local market; our instructors will introduce the basic ingredients used in Thai cuisine and how to select them. In our organic farm, you will learn more about Thai herbs and vegetables. Not only picking up some fresh ingredients by yourself, but also experience how to harvest mushrooms, collect chicken eggs and enjoy a farming-life experience.

Our cooking course offers famous Thai dishes such as Tom Yam (Hot and Sour Soup), Kang Kew Waan (Green Curry), Pad Thai (Stir-Fried Rice Noodles), Gang Massaman (Massaman Curry), etc. Select one refreshment and one dish from our five categories; appetizer, stir fry, soup, curry, and dessert. Our experienced instructors will demonstrate techniques step by step first and then it’s your turn to cook your selected dishes.

• Dessert: Thai red rubies in coconut milk

Tuesday & Friday

• Appetizer: Thai traditional spring roll
• Soup (Select 1): Hot and sour soup or coconut soup
• Stir Fry (Select1): Pad Thai (Thai stir-fried rice noodle)
• Curry (Select1): Green curry, red curry or Khao Soi curry
• Dessert: Banana in coconut milk
• Special Menu (Select 1): Thai milk tea or Thai lemon tea
• Extra Menu: Papaya salad

Wednesday & Saturday

• Appetizer: Fresh spring roll
• Soup (Select 1): Hot and sour soup or coconut soup
• Stir Fry (Select1): Pad Thai (Thai stir-fried rice noodle)
• Curry (Select1): Green curry, red curry or Khao Soi curry
• Dessert: Mango sticky rice
• Special Menu (Select 1): Thai milk tea or Thai lemon tea

Sunday

• 8:30 am: Pick-up from your hotel
• 9:15 am: Visit the local market. Our instructors will introduce various ingredients and seasonings.
• 10:00 am: Arrival at Grandma's Home Cooking School where refreshing drinks and welcome snacks are waiting for you.
• 10:20 am: Begin the class with how to cook rice and sticky rice.
• 10:35 am: Our instructors will guide you our organic farm while explaining Thai herbs and vegetables. Enjoy collecting chicken eggs and some fresh ingredients.
• 11:00 am: Appetizer session with tasting
• 12:00 pm: Soup session with tasting
• 12:30 pm: Lunch break
• 12:45 pm: Curry paste session
• 1:15 pm: Stir-fry and curry session with tasting
• 2:20 pm: 25 minutes break
• 2:45 pm: Dessert and refreshment session with tasting
• 3:30 pm: Class summary with recipe Book
• 3:45 pm: Drop-off at your hotel
