Learning how to use local ingredients to make a delicious feast was lots of fun, and sampling all the dishes at the end of the class was even better! I now have some recipes to try again at home - a gift from Bali I'll never forget. Thank you Uday, Oleg and Wayan, our wonderful teachers!

We had such a wonderful experience at Nayas Cooking Class! Sentana and his family welcomed us with incredible kindness and made us feel part of their home and culture. The dishes we prepared were absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed every moment of the class. It was a truly authentic and memorable experience that we highly recommend to anyone visiting Bali. This cooking class was seriously amazing - I can’t believe how much food we got to make and how delicious it all was! Rakesh was a fun host and everything was well organised and easy. The location was also lovely, in Rajesh's family home, outdoors in the garden. The menu was super varied and we got to sit down and enjoy a delicious feast at the end. Perfect cooking class experience!
This was a great opportunity to learn about local plants and food culture, while enjoying local cuisine and experiencing the fun of cooking local dishes. I had a great time and truly enjoyed the whole tour.

The class started with being picked up in Ubud and taken on the short trip past the rice terraces to the permaculture farm. We then picked vegetables from the garden and settled in to cook our dishes and then enjoyed eating them together. Our instructor Witika was awesome and explained each ingredient and what it brought to the dishes very well. Highly recommended!

It was a fun workshop with a homely atmosphere. The finished coconut oil smells so good that it's good for cooking, skin care, and hair care.
The entire experience was beautifully conducted and we learnt so much. The ingredients were explained, their role in the recipes was elaborated upon and Balinese culinary culture was explored. We all took turns to try our hands at every process. The teacher was so knowledgeable and friendly. And the final meal was utterly divine!
Smooth pickup from the hotel, visit to the market, not to buy the ingredients but to explain and show what is on offer. Short stop at a rice field to explain about it, then off to the cooking school. Bigger than expected but well organisied and hands on. Multi cultural participants. All in all a great experience and yummy food to eat at the end.
