Hands-On Cooking Experience with a Local Family in Jaipur

Couldn’t recommend this activity enough. Monthly, Harshita and Gina were exceptional hosts and it was great to be welcomed into their home. The food was the some of the best we’ve had in India.

I had the most wonderful experience joining Harshita for a cooking class in her home in Jaipur. I was warmly welcomed into her home like an old friend which made me feel completely at ease. Together, we cooked up a delicious feast of Indian classics, with Hashita guiding me step by step in a very hands-on and interactive way. The spice levels were thoughtfully adjusted to suit my sensitive Western stomach, which I really appreciated, and I still felt like I was getting an authentic taste of Indian flavours. The class was not only about cooking but also about connection—sharing stories, laughter, and culture. After all the fun in the kitchen, i was joined by Monty and their young daughter and we sat down together to enjoy the meal Harshita and I had prepared, which was such a special highlight. It truly felt like being part of their family for the day. I can’t recommend this experience enough—it was amazing from start to finish.
