I will take you to my welcoming kitchen overlooking the sea to give you an experience that will remain imprinted in your mind and, I hope, in your heart forever. 

My house is located a few steps from the main squares of the historic center. We will cook a first or second course together and then a dessert, all accompanied by good Sicilian wine! The dishes we prepare will depend on the season and what the market offers, using only the freshest products.

The menu will include an appetizer, a first course (or a second course), and a dessert. During preparation, if you wish, you can take notes and photos, and at the end bring together the recipe for the main dish prepared. The experience will be offered and supported in English.

Menu

• Aperitivo (per prepararlo utilizzeremo melanzane, pomodorini, olive e capperi) Aperitif (to prepare we will use aubergines, tomatoes, olives, and capers)
• Parmigiana o bruschetta o caponata (Parmesan or bruschetta)

We will cook one of the following dishes together

• Pasta con le sarde (Pasta with sardines)
• Pasta alla norma con cuore di melanzane ( Pasta alla norma with aubergine heart)
• Spaghetti al nero di seppia (Spaghetti with cuttlefish ink)
• Calamarata con pomodorini e calamari ( Linguine with tenerumi and mussels) 
• Lasagne al polpo o al ragù ( Calamarata with glasswort and calamari)
• Linguine alle vongole ( Lasagna with octopus or ragù) 
• Risotto ai funghi (mushroom risotto)
• Sarde a Beccafico (Sicilian Stuffed Sardines)
• Braciole di Vitello (Sicilian Veal chops)

Dessert

• Biancomangiare alle mandorle (Almond blancmange)
• Cannoli siciliani con ricotta ( Sicilian cannoli with ricotta)
• Fichi d'India con gelato ( Prickly pears with ice cream)
• Torta di Mele (Apple pie)

11:30 AM: Welcome drink (aperitif)

12.00 AM: First cooking session and tasting

1.00 PM: Second cooking session and tasting

2:00 PM: Dessert session and time to enjoy the dishes

3:30 PM: End of the lesson.
