The little visit to the garden was a great experience, I really enjoyed picking up all the herbs for the cooking. About the recipes and teaching, everything was great. I chose the vegan/vegetarian menu which was amazing. Thank you so much for this experience!

Really lovely quaint farm decently out of the way of Ubud to avoid the main tourist traps. All the staff were incredibly kind people and the food was so delicious, would highly recommend if wanting to do a cooking class in Bali.

Being a chef, I was concerned that I wasn’t going to be engaged or challenged enough, but the whole day was brilliant, walking around the farm was informative, a chilled out day, with amazing hosts who were awesome to spend the afternoon with while coaching everybody through the various dishes. 5* and I would give a massive 100% must do, very fond memories. cheers guys.

"YES! Loved this VEGAN cooking class!"
If you want to take a vegan cooking class in Ubud, THIS is the one to take. We appreciated getting to have a traditional Balinese vegan cooking class. Adi and Frances are kind and knowledgeable instructors who provided an excellent vegan cooking class experience. Their team is impresseively well-choreographed and all are warm and friendly.
I loved that all the ingredients used are high-quality and organic. The kitchen is gorgeous and the garden tour was fun too. The knowledge shared about Balinese traditions was invaluable. It helped a lot that they speak excellent English so that we were able to get answers to all kinds of questions.
If you're considering taking this class, go directly to YES, you won't be disappointed. =)

A variety of activities especially enjoyed picking the vegetables in the organic farm. The ingredients were all prepared orderly and some even packed nicely in banana leaves, extremely impressive! The cooking procedure was in systematically order, with 2 chefs and another 2 lovely ladies on site to clean up after us. We enjoyed the trip thoroughly.

"Amazing experience, great value for money!"
I truly enjoyed this cooking class.
I was in the afternoon class together with 3 others. The trip to the farm was about 1 hour but I did not mind because I was getting to know the other people. We prepared 6 (vegan) authentic Indonesian dishes and ate them together between each course. I learned a lot about spices and flavors. The food was quite a lot so if you are not that big of an eater you can take the remainders back to our stay.
All the people at the farm were very nice, helpful and funny!
I really enjoyed the entire day and I can really recommend it to others.

We had an amazing time in the cooking class. They were all so gracious, funny and welcoming. Complicated process yet the chef was so compassionate to share his knowledge and experience in making very delicate dish, an authentic Balinese food. Along with my friends, we enjoyed making the spice paste. Learned a lot of techniques in cooking and added more style that I would definitely incorporate and adopt cooking at home. Overall, the Ubud culture is great! Lovely people and most especially the food is delicious. Our visit was totally worth it!

"Very enjoyable and hands-on experience."
We were worried that this class would be more of a demonstration as we have seen so many reviews about demo type classes.
Here we were on the ingredients, mashing spices, deep frying and all.
The food is really good and the instructor Bee was very clear with the steps.
The farm picking is fun too.
The drive to the place is longer than we thought but it just means you are really outside of Ubud which was nice.
It was a great day well spent.
Would definitely recommend!

"Inspiring, informative and so much fun!"
This was a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Our teacher Oleg was a huge character with a huge smile who had us all under his spell from the get-go. Hugely engaging and funny, he made learning all about Balinese cuisine, culture and tradition so easy to understand and interesting to learn, so much so he managed to hold our attention throughout. It was fascinating to learn all about the key ingredients from a medicinal point of view as well as culinary and how various amounts of the same collection of herbs and spices in each dish created such a different flavour combination.
It was the perfect blend of talking and hands-on cooking, picking up lots of tips, tricks and techniques along the way and just like Balinese culture the entire approach was always fun and relaxed - nothing serious and lots of smiles and laughter. All of the staff were wonderfully friendly and always on hand to help explain and assist us throughout all the various stages.
We cooked an incredible menu of really tasty dishes and once all of the slicing, chopping, and preparation was complete the cooking itself was really quick and easy and soon we had a huge banquet of delicious and nutritious dishes to feast on. We enjoyed a range of beautiful salads and curries that were deceptively filling and hearty.
It was great to meet so many other like-minded people from around the world to share the cooking and eating with and we would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning more about healthy but super easy and tasty vegan and vegetarian food. A super relaxed but fun and immersive class that's an experience you'll never forget.
The coconut sorbet at the end was a standout dish that everyone raved about too!
Don't hesitate to book this class, whatever your cooking level or experience and be sure to check out their restaurant Casa Luna too as it's definitely some of the best food we've eaten in Ubud.
Thanks so much to everyone who made our day so special and we hope to see you again next year to sample another class.
