My husband and I had an incredible experience at this authentic Thai cooking class! From start to finish, it was so much more than just a lesson — it was a true cultural experience. The class itself was hands-on and personalized, which I really appreciated. Ms Trichada teaches with such warmth and lots of passion and welcomes you into her home kitchen with such grace and hospitality. She makes you feel like you’re cooking in the kitchen with a good friend or your family. A wonderful and fun experience! Trishada is an amazing teacher and chef. First I did the standard cooking class that everyone does. But I wanted to learn more and other dishes. Trishada taught me all the other dishes I wanted and answered all my questions to help me cook thai food at home. She was such an amazing instructor that I scheduled a second private lesson to learn even more. Now I have so many ideas for making delicious Thai food at home! Highly recommended!

What an amazing experience!!! It was much more beautiful than what I expected!!! The instructor, Oui is not only a super chef, but also she is an artist!!! I've taken some cooking classes in Thailand before, but this cooking class was something different from the others!!! She invited me to her beautiful home kitchen and cooked together. OMG!!! It was so beautiful!!! Many beautiful birds were singing and beautiful butterflies and bees were around!!! It was just like cooking in beautiful botanical garden! In addition, she was so friendly, warm, and so sweet, so it didn't take time to get along with her!!! Moreover, the dishes we made were like beautiful colorful flowers in the beautiful Chiangmai garden!!! The taste of the dishes were nothing like the food you eat in restaurants!!! They were all super duper tasty and authentic(The best dishes I've eaten in Thailand)!!! In addition, her instructions were so clear and easy to follow! Eventually, I could feel more close to local food in Chiangmai! Besides, I felt like she opened my new door and took me to the next level of Thai food in general!!! OMG!!! I want to write more, but pls believe me and take her class!!! Once again, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful passion and thank you so much for having me in your private kitchen!!! You are so amazing and unforgettable!!! I will never forget the day we cooked together!!! I'm 100 % positive to be back to your class in the future!!!

We had such a great time! A really personalized experience. We really recommend it!

The day was very nicely from the beginning to the end. Immediately after picking up from the hotel, we went directly to two local markets to buy the ingredients for the dish. In between, snacks were served from local shops from time to time (tip: don't have many breakfasts in the hotel before). After we arrived at her home, it was time for the preparation of the food and the direct tasting, so that you can eat the 5 dishes one after the other.

Oui is both an amazing chef and a great communicator. From the moment we were picked up, we felt as if she was welcoming us into the world of simple and beautiful flavors of her Thai cuisine. Just from observing, we could tell how she is respected in the market by the interactions with the vendors - laughter along the way. Her front yard setup is warm, clean, and professional, and made us feel like part of the family! Couldn’t recommend more!

First of all, Oui is such a lovely and warm person. We immediately felt in good hands with her. The cooking day itself was very nice. First the visit to the market and then the family get-together at Oui's home. The time went by so quickly. Definitely a recommendation. Gladly again :)

To say we enjoyed this cooking class is an understatement. Kru Trichada is an excellent teacher and such a lovely person. We can’t wait to take her next class.

I had a solo session with Trichada today and from the very beginning it was an absolute dream. She picked me up from my hotel, and we then went to a local market where she taught me about different Thai ingredients, and also picked some up for the dishes I wanted to make. She seems to have a great relationship with the different vendors, and they were very gracious in letting me try little bites of things. We then went to her house where the kitchen is set in a beautiful outdoor garden. She started me with some tea and coffee, and immediately I felt so at home. We then spent the next five or so hours cooking, and she gave me all the little tricks and secrets. I felt like I was cooking with my new Thai mom. Everything was amazingly delicious, and beautifully presented. It’s obvious she takes great pride in the work she does. She was more than happy to answer all my questions both food and culture related, and just an all around calming presence. I cannot say enough great things about her class. Seriously, just book it.

Very different to the more commercial cooking courses I've done in SE Asia where you're often part of a huge class and help to make a dish with your group. This course was intimate and provided the opportunity to ask questions of the amazing host. Based in her lovely family home garden, Oui was a pleasure to spend a day with. Very informative and an excellent teacher. Make sure you go on an empty stomach!!! We had the best time and would recommend to anybody.

I upgrade my taste level with my lovely thai cuisine teacher Oui ! I swear everyone love her cooking class ! Her home was so beautiful and natural place harmonized with outside. Of course, the food and cooking process were so perfect and so delicious . I really recommend this cooking class with Trichada !

The class was very personal and we learnt a number of dishes. I really enjoyed going to the market and learning about the different ingredients and food you could buy there. We had a great day, couldn’t recommend this higher!

Oui picked us up at the hotel en then we went to the market for some fresh ingredients. We had such a lovely day and make 5 courses of authentic thai food at her home. Oui is passionate about cooking and food en is a warm and lovely person. Definitely advised booking a class with her. You wont regret.

Trichada was sooooo nice. I definitely recommend this class rather than other big cookeries. Through markets exploring, I could try Thai snacks and also experience fresh ingredients(herbs, coconut milk, shrimps etc)! Cooking class was ordinated and not difficult to follow. What you have to do is just follow Trichada’s instruction, then you’ll get unbelievable Thai Cuisine:) Looking forward to get recipes of foods I learned, and try in my home again

What an experience with Trichada ! I have had the opportunity to have a private class (usually class do note xceed 4 people) and to choose 5 different dishes, even some that were not in Trichada's menu such as Khao Soi, and to learn all about the ingredients behind the recipes at the food market. Trichada is a wonderful teacher and you do not only learn with her about Thai food, but also about Thai culture... Her comprehensive class is based on the art of balancing the four S (Salt, sweet, spicy and sour) and the traditional tricks to cook Thai food, notably the secrets of all-natural food dyes. I am looking forward to coming back to Chiang Mai to spend another half day in her peaceful home and learn about new recipes and secrets of Thai food ! Thanks again Trichada :)

I learned a lot from Oiu and I had so much fun doing it. Not only do you get to learn the tricks of Thai cooking, handed down over generations, you also get to buy the ingredients at the market, cook and eat every scrumptious creation!! Everything tasted so good and looked amazing! The colors, flavors and textures of the food we cooked are the reasons I can't wait to get home and recreate them. We cooked at her home in natural surroundings with great facilities. The best thing about this class is that it's small, four people max and this allows Oui to teach you one on one. We were all encouraged to choose a different meal to cook and in that way we got to learn how to cook many dishes and taste them all! I highly recommend this experience to everyone! Tri Chad’s is a wonderful instructor. She welcomes you into her home kitchen and does a great job of teaching various Thai dishes while emphasizing the 4 S’s ( Sweet, Salty, Sour and Spicy) I gained more in one class with her than 3 classes anywhere else.

The receipts are very easy and oui is telling very good ideas. Its was a wonderful day with her. And its like you have booked a privat class. So she has a lot of time for you and she also gave us another meal to choose as on the card.

Oui´s cooking class did not only make us taste the full beautiful combination of textures and colors of Thai cuisine, it also made us obsessively eager to continue learning and have more and more of Thailand´s culinary gems. We did the course on the early part of our trip and continued talking about it for the rest of it and beyond. We learned a whole variety of useful tips, all outstandingly well explained by Oui: how to cut the ingredients to make full use of their taste, how to control the spiciness, how to make any Thai dish vegan if you want to, and much more. My girlfriend and I were prepared to go with the flow in case that vegan was not an option and were in the end astonished by the amount of detail and dedication that Ui showed as she enthusiastically explained us how to replace ingredient and made every dish available to us. It was encouraging and heart-warming. Oui is a fun, smart, loving person with an incredible ability to make cooking easy to learn, only matched by her presentation skills. Each dish was a delight for the eyes as well as for the taste buds. Only warning: after this course you will probably end up buying a wok, a mortar and talk to your friends about Thai cuisine so much that they will hate you, or kill them with ultra spicy chillies. And your standards for cooking classes will be up to the roof. All completely worth it, though. Make sure to also ask Oui for recommendations about where to eat, for she knows the best places in Chiang Mai. You will probably also just love her house so much that you will want her to adopt you. So just book this and enjoy. like, now, seriously.

This class was fantastic. There were just 4 of us which meant that we were able to spend a lot of time with Oui, getting to truly learn how to make the dishes. Before the class, we went to a market and had some of the less familiar ingredients explained to us, then we got to try a few local treats. Afterwards, we were met with a welcome drink at Oui's home, and all of the ingredients for the first meal were set out at our individual stations. The day was packed with cooking and eating (so much) incredible food. I would definitely recommend this class, it was intimate and really worth the price. Thanks for such a great day!

This was one of our best experience in the whole two weeks we spent in Thailand. Oui is an amazing person, super kind and super sweet. She’ll teach you everything about Thai cuisine and its culture. She’ll do anything to make you comfortable and to make you enjoy the most. The class is super intimate, max 4 people. Thanks to this you have all the time and the chance to really understand and dive into Thai cuisine. The market Tour was amazing and a really teach full experience. There is also a vegetarian menu, and the menu we cooked was huge and absolutely incredible. Everything was sooooo good. We absolutely recommend it, 100%. And when we’ll come back to Chiang Mai, we want to do it all over again Oui! 😊

The cooking class was fun and full of learning. I was able to join a small group of tourist from different countries. The whole morning was full pack of activities. We got to enjoy the local market of Chiang Mai and tasted the culture of Northern Thailand. The staff also arranged a service to get us to the cookery home from our hotel. Upon arrival, we got welcome drinks and short intro about the history of the dishes we were to cook. Chef Oui was very delighted to have us. It was a fruitful day, full of Thai culture and experience.

This class is led by Oui, a home cook and native of northern Thailand. She has a very friendly and individualised approach with a small class size. This class is not the cheapest available, but the value gained from Oui's experience and attention, broad range of dishes taught, and being welcomed into her home all make this worthwhile.

It’s such a good experience for letting us to know the culture of their local wet market, and we knew what the ingredients would be used for traditional Thai cuisine after the introduction by Ms. Oui 👩🏻‍🍳. She is a really nice and humorous women. Therefore, we had a lot of fun with her during this half day😊 Overall, we are all enjoyed of the cooking experience in Trichada’s cookery home 🏠

We absolutely loved this cooking class. Oui spoke amazing English and is a damn good chef! She picked us up from our hotel, brought us to the market and then on to her house for the cooking lesson. Unlike other cooking classes we have done, in this one we fully prepped and cooked every dish. I feel confident that I can go home and actually prepare the menu. Highly recommend especially to couples and small groups!!!

Great experience! The class was a small group of only four people max in the teachers home which made it very personal. The teacher, Oui, was amazing, do knowledgable and really made the day excellent for everyone. Could chose your 5 dishes of a menu which was nice. Also really enjoyed the market trip before the cooking as purchased the ingredients we used with excellent explanations to what each was used for and tried a lot of exotic fruit. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to cook in Chiang Mai!

Second such course in Thailand, and this was an excellent day of learning Thai cooking both the proper way and, in a wonderfully relaxed family atmosphere. Oui - sorry for misspelling- but her Trichada cooking school is a great day. Her focus is on the building blocks of the dish, which she allows you to alter as you like, as opposed to a prescripted format. You’ll come away: stuffed to the gills; informed; and aware of what real Thai food is!

This is the most memorable, authentic experience we had in Chiang Mai. We had a tour of the local markets, learnt about all the essential Thai ingredients, and we cooked in Oui’s most beautiful garden. The class is very small and private. We had so much fun cooking! If you want to experience local food culture this is the class to choose.

I loved that it was a small group setting so everything was super personalized and I was able to get many questions answered. You can go at your own pace to really get the most out of a cooking class. Trichada is absolutely wonderful and hospitable. The class is set in a beautiful home and having transportation provided makes it very convenient. I highly recommend this cooking class!

Oui was amazing & going to any other class would be foolish. Her classes are small intimate groups in the setting of her beautiful home garden. The classes were thorough & Oui was super attentive answering all of our silly questions. I've taken a lot of Thai cooking classes in the past (7 total) but Oui's was the best & has left me inspired to cook more Thai at home. Thanks Oui!

Absolutes must-do für alle die thailändisches Essen mögen. Die Schule ist etwas außerhalb der Stadt, was einem das lokale Thailand zeigt. Außerdem wurden wir persönlich abgeholt und fuhren auf dem weg zu einem lokalen Markt. Die Gastgeberin ist eine herzliche, liebenswerte Frau der man die Liebe zum Kochen und den Zutaten anmerkt. Sie lehrt mit Leidenschaft und man wird von Ihrer Begeisterung angesteckt. Der Tag war sehr lehrreich und angenehm und durch die kleine Gruppenanzahl sehr persönlich.

Oui is the best cooking instructor I could’ve asked for!!! She’s accommodating to any dietary needs and allows you to cook the dishes to your liking. Her attention to detail is awesome. I learned so much about traditional thai cuisine. Her private groups allow for a much more personal experience. I would definitely do it all over again if I’m ever in Chiang Mai again. You will not regret booking with her!!!

What we wanted we got. We wanted to visit the market and see the produce and items we needed as well as learn about them more. We wanted a great space to work in ideally with only a handful of people and for a great teacher to be helpful, funny and can speak good English as I’m appalling at Thai. We got everything!! Maximum o 4 people and we had the privilege of being invited to cook at Qui’s home. Even better, it was outside under a fixed canopy with very clean and professional equipment to work with. I couldn’t have asked for more! The dishes were the usual ones but our great teacher gave us more choices if we wanted to make something different. Timon wise was spot on and If you’re looking for the above... book it now!

Cooking with Oui was absolutely the highlight of my boyfriend and my trip. First she took us to the market to teach us about the different ingredients used in traditional Thai dishes. She shared samples of 10+ ingredients and sweet treats with us. Next she took us to her beautiful home where we cooked outside in the cover of her leafy garden. From start to finish we had an exceptional experience. The dishes we cooked were amazing, better than anything we got at a restaurant. She played everything beautifully for us to photograph. Her husband Peter, did the dishes for us and sat to converse as well. At the end, we enjoyed a cup of espresso and conversation, she boxed up our leftovers, and took us home. (She also picked us up.) The day was effortlessly amazing and I have already recommended to many people. Thank you so much Oui for a special day we will always remember.

Trichada was incredible. My husband and I took her cooking class, we are big foodies so this was a very exciting day for us. At the market she had us try some local stalls food (all delicious) and taste, smell, and touch, the ingredients we would be using for the evening. We cooked so muxh food and everything was bright, spicy, and tasty. She made this class tons of fun. We would recommend her hands down to anyone who is visiting Chiang Mai!
