Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt Kochkurse

Hostesses were really great. They take the time for the students to actually understand how to make the dishes. For the first time, I believe I can actually make the dishes myself when I get home.

Went to Ho Chi Minh City and saw soup being served and eaten everywhere. Wanted to learn how to cook it. I was not sure if this was the right course, but bingo—pho was part of the cooking course and I had the chance to see how it is done. Sure, on the internet you can find the recipe as well, but the cooking course is something special. We cooked spring rolls and a sizzling crepe as well, which I recognized at the market later. Learned the importance of fish sauce in Vietnamese cuisine and a lot of new names for spices and herbs. Overall, a very interesting experience which I can recommend.

Hoa is such a lovely and welcoming person, and speaks excellent English. She made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I really enjoyed the cooking class. She explained all the ingredients and spices, and everything we made was delicious. I’m vegan, and Hoa was very kind and accommodating, making adjustments to the dishes according to my request for a vegan menu. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend taking a cooking class with Hoa.

This was the highlight of my trip to Vietnam. Being a vegetarian I really enjoyed the vegan Vietnamese good. So this detailed class helped me learn a lot about the culture and cuisine❤️ Hoa was very patient and very passionate. I will recommend everyone to take this up. Its great fun .!

Phoebe was great learned a lot tasted very yummy food and the whole crew hast been amazing. Great ingredients and lots of flexibility when it comes to veggie alternatives too.

Our chef made me feeling super welcomed and told us about the culture behind Vietnamese cooking. We made summer rolls, banh mi, chicken clay pot and banana tapiocas pudding. We had our own work station and ingredients and it was fully hands on. Thank you for a fabulous afternoon. Highly recommend. Very worthwhile.

We had a very special experience! My friend and I booked this cooking class a few days before leaving Vietnam so we would be able to bring some traditional food into our home country! Lua is a really really kind person and explained a lot about the food and what to look out for, what is needed and how it should be done. She is such a strong and brave person and I am glad we were able to meet her and her inspiring life. We chose the vegan/vegetarian option and learned how to make our three absolute favorite dishes of Vietnam. Everything was absolutely delicious and we cannot wait to recreate the food back at home! This will always have a special place in our heart and will remind us of our wonderful time in this wonderful country! Thanks so much for having us😍

We really enjoyed the class with Lua. She explained and demonstrated everything very well and we each got to participate in different ways, as well as making our own Banh Xeo. After the class, I feel confident to try making the dishes we learnt and am also looking forward to doing another one!
