This experience begins at the place where we have been going to throughout all our lives: the local market. Antignano is one of the oldest fresh markets in town. I remember going with my mum and tasting all the novelties that each season had to offer. Fruits, veggies, cheese, olives, local wine and produce, and chances to play with fresh seafood all combined in a friendly atmosphere made up of cheerful vendors.
On the market tour, we will visit their little shops and taste what they are offering based upon the season. We will also learn how to choose ingredients according to the season for freshness and, most importantly, the taste. You will be allowed to go around and interact with the friendly locals to learn about their life and culture.
Back at the cooking school, you will be able to learn in this unique experience made by the first cooking school in Naples. A mix of techniques, traditions, and professionalism combine in a cosy, family style environment.
Giorgia Chiatto and her mum Carmela Caputo, the founder of the school, will lead you through local flavours and cooking techniques, making sure that what you learn is knowledge you will be able to apply in your own home in order to replicate the tastiest recipes from Naples. We offer a hands-on cooking class followed by the tasting of your creations.
