Francesco is an absolutely incredible host who truly made us feel like dear friends being shown the farm and cheese making process. We *HIGHLY* recommend this experience! Take your time, ask lots of questions, and experience, natural cheese, making at its finest!

Georgia was fantastic! She took us through the farmers market and showed us different produce and fish. She bought a few fresh items for us to cook and we headed back to the kitchen. We had a fantastic time learning how to make several dishes. Making pasta was so much fun! The biggest surprise was the eggplant parmigiana. None of us knew if we even liked eggplant, but it was absolutely delicious. Georgia made the class fun and gave us all kinds of tips. I highly recommend cooking with her!
We were welcomed in with open arms. We started with picking the fruits and vegetables out of their garden and then we went hands on in the kitchen. It was a real Italian cooking experience (because it was so much more than just a class) and we had lunch like friends afterwards. Big thanks to Teresa, Gerardo and Alessandro for letting us in their home and be part of their family for the day.
We had a very beautiful excursion through the olive groves and gained insights into the history and production of the oil. A wonderful tasting rounded off the afternoon. Afterwards, we were able to shop in the showroom and received a gift.
It was one of the best experiences of our Italian vacation. The farm is full of stories and delicious fruits and vegetables. Teresa and her family are charming and welcoming; we felt like family. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place. If you're looking for a real, authentic experience, but above all, with a love of family cooking, this is the place. My 8-year-old children loved the experience. A pleasant memory that will live long in our hearts.
My wife and I had an absolutely lovely day with Teresa and Gerardo at their Benevento farmhouse La Tana del Riccio, which means 'The Hedgehog's Den'. If you visit, ask them to tell you the funny story behind the name! Teresa led us through the garden and chicken coop to gather eggs and vegetables that we used to make an absolute feast. Over the course of the day we created Montanarine Fritte, a simple but delicious starter made from fried pizza dough and tomatoes, lasagne with zucchini and courgette flowers, a pork fillet tagine, and a plum crostata. We made the pasta and cooked alongside Teresa as she gave us expert advice and direction on true Italian cooking. By the end of the meal we were completely stuffed but it was totally worth it! It was a great experience, and if you are planning a trip to the Naples area I highly recommend it.
Our 3 hours with Chef Sylvia included making Ravioli, Eggplant Parmagiana and Tiramisu - all from scratch. Chef Sylvia demonstrated each step and then guided us we created each dish ourselves! We picked up tips that we will use forever and also learned the importance of selecting the best quality ingredients. The food we made was the best we had during our entire trip to Italy - and that says a lot! Sylvia exudes warmth and we highly recommend this experience!
We had the best time learning to make meatballs pasta and tiramisu. Tony’s way of engaging everyone made it a fun experience for my husband and 21 year old son. We had a wonderful time getting to know the other two couples in our group and we made delicious beautiful meal together. Tony’s team was amazing!
Anthony and Eugenia are wonderful hosts, so full of knowledge with kind and patient souls. Anthony gave us so many tips and tricks to improve our cooking! I truly learned so much from this well traveled, well seasoned, chef of the globe! I wouldn't think it was possible for me to turn out gnocchi pillows just light as air along with perfectly formed and uniform meatballs so full of flavor! The tiramisu we made was a beautiful presentation that I am looking forward to serving my family at the holidays. I highly recommend that you take any kind of cooking school you can grab at Quanto Basta in Sorrento!
