A wonderful evening of cooking in a very idyllic settingA
The location was fabulously beautiful and a great place to have the class. Our instructors, Aurora, Arla, and Tiziano were very engaging and did a good job of both teaching and entertaining the group. It was a super fun event and a real highlight of our trip. I'd highly recommend it. The food, as you would expect was delicious, and we got lots of good recipes to try at home as well. Couldn't recommend this enough! Top notch!

The best way to spend an afternoon in Tuscany!
We had such a wonderful time with Ana Maria and Valentina! Our family loved learning to prepare the dishes under their guidance, and especially appreciated their family stories regarding the recipes. The afternoon was topped off with the most beautiful lunch in the garden. Highly recommend!

Fun Learning Experience
We took this class with our 10 year old daughter on a recent trip to Florence. During the class, we made 3 pasta dishes (pesto, tomato, and butter & sage). Our head chef, Federico, was very personable and reviewed step by step instructions on how to make different types of pasta. The recipes were delicious and so fun to make! We really enjoyed the class and would highly recommend. Thank you!

Pasta Cooking Class
My husband and I really enjoyed this class. It was just what we were looking for - a hands on cooking class in a small group. Nonna gave good tips to help us when we make pasta at home. We made tagetelle pasta with eggplant. It was delicious! I highly recommend this class. Gail C.

Pizza and Gelato … we made it all!!
Cooking classes are always fun, especially, when preparing things you really like to eat. What could be better than pizza and gelato in Florence, Italy. My wife and I went with our daughter, her husband and our 5 1/2 year- old granddaughter. It was very well- organized, educational and fun, especially with our granddaughter. The instructor was informative, and knowledgeable with his directions to prepare the two dishes. The process was easy and well- organized. The best part… the cooking and finally, the eating. A great experience was had by all.. it was a little too long, though! Otherwise , a perfect evening!

Fun light learning and a delicious meal with new friends
Our delightful chef gave us great instruction on how to make tiramisu (but we really didn’t Do that one), then with already measured ingredients we got to play with making pasta and shaping pasta (they had pre-prepared the fillings). It was fun to mix, roll, knead and shape ravioli, torlinni and taglietelle. But it was special to sit after with classmates and enjoy our meal together with wine. A great way to relax in the culture with a low pressure experience!

The experience exceeded my expectations!
This was so much fun! The setting was magnificent nestled in the hills above Florence. Our hosts Max, Lodovik and Tiziano were just amazing. They were friendly, engaging and entertaining. I am elderly and did not expect the walk down the steep hill to the kitchen area. Not to worry! One of the kind gentlemen took me back to the bus in their car. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it. Since returning to the USA I have made both the pizza and gelato. It was just amazing! Thank you so much!!

A cooking class that doesn’t feel like a class.
If you have taken other cooking classes where it feels like a formal class - rigid and stuff, this is not that. Beautiful home, with a fantastic view, great setup for the class taught by a wonderful couple who truly engage with all of the guests, you cannot ask for more.

Cooking Italian in a farmhouse in Tuscany
We had a wonderful day in cooking class with Stephania and Erika! The trip to the market in Tuscany was exciting. We learned so much about Italian cooking and met lots of interesting people too. Making the pasta was amazing! It was such an enjoyable day. Everyone should try this if you are in the region.

An Absolute Highlight of Our Trip!
Giada was literally a dream. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely welcome in her home and kitchen. She was patient, kind, hilarious, and shared so many helpful cooking tips along the way—not just how to make the recipes, but little things we’ll actually take home and use. What made the experience so special, though, was Giada herself. She shared stories about her family, her traditions, and the meaning behind the food we were making. It never felt like we were simply taking a cooking class; it truly felt like we had been invited into her home and were cooking with family. And the FOOD! Everything was absolutely delicious, the recipes were fantastic, and we had so much fun making it all. This was one of those experiences that becomes a favorite memory of a trip. If you’re considering booking a class with Giada, DO IT. We would take another class with her in a heartbeat… or convince her to come to Iowa to cook for us there. ❤️🇮🇹🍝
